Who is Yemi Cardoso (CBN Governor) Yemi is a Nigerian banker who previously served as the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget of the Lagos State Government. Who is Wale Edun (Minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy) Wale is a Nigerian economist, investment banker and politician who previously served as Lagos State Commissioner of Finance while Tinubu was Lagos State governor. In October 2023, I had posted my opinion regarding the lopsided nepotistic appointments that characterized Tinubu’s cabinet (See link below), as usual the Tribal champions and APC hateful agents were quick to attack my post. Today, we can all see how Nigeria is paying dearly for it…. The Yoruba nepotism and tribalism of Tinubu’s appointments especially his economic team may finally destroy Nigeria’s economy as dollar continues to rise now at over N1700 to $1…. Buhari laid the tribalistic groundwork that Tinubu continued….. we have people appointed to sensitive positions such as CBN governor and Finance Minister not because of their competence and experience but solely because they are Yoruba and were part of Tinubu’s cabinet when he was Lagos State Governor…. This is just the beginning as Naira will hit N2000 to $1 by March…. Nigerians must learn the painful truth that applying tribalism and hate towards nation building doesn’t pay and will never bring about good governance….. Tinubu can not give what he doesn’t possess he can not give accountability, due process or integrity…. Tinubu is a criminal and one of the most tribalistic and divisive politician in Nigeria, he has nothing good to offer except corruption and propaganda…. One will ask, where is the money saved from fuel subsidy removal? Where are the refineries that were suppose to come on steam by December 2023? If Nigerians don’t protest and end this evil APC government…. Nigeria’s economy will collapse completely by April 2024…. https://www.nairaland.com/7874829/tinubus-new-efcc-chairman-another |

Bebigiby1:I like your obsession about Yoruba...to the extent there are least 20 thread open today by you and your ipob brothers about Yoruba. It shows how much pain you are going through So shameless for you to note that the owner of the platform you are using to spew rubbish is owned by a Yoruba guy. Most likely, in a gli network owned by a Yoruba, living in Lagos governed by a Yoruba and then in a Country governed by a Yoruba. I see why why your heart is broken without remedy |

Kokorokoedo7:If you think Tinubu's appointments so far don't set him out as a tribalist, then redefine tribalism for us. Even if you call it nepotism, don't forget that nepotism is driven by tribalism. In fact, nepotism is mini-tribalism. You guys keep dividing the country along tribal lines and still blame your victims for not being patriotic or wishing the country bad. |

I’ve no obsession with Yoruba I am only stating the obvious, pointing out the bad decisions made by Tinubu is not an attack on Yoruba people as you may presume if you think otherwise then you’re a tribalist and a victim of the APC tribal propaganda that has been on rampage all over this forum…. Is Cardoso and Edun the best hands for the job? Are there more qualified professionals that are more experienced to occupy the offices of the CBN governor and the Finance Minister? Nigerians should learn to be objective on national issues…. For your information I didn’t support Obi or any of the major candidates in the last election, I didn’t even support the participation of Nigerians in the last election because I knew we will make the same mistake that has brought us to where we are now…. I’ve always been a proponent for the restructuring of Nigerian political system…. If you’re a Yoruba man, Tinubu sharing the same tribe with you doesn’t mean he and his gang cares about your people…. Many of these politicians whether Hausa, Igbo, Fulani ad Yoruba are one and united in looting and destroying the country…. The earlier you detoxify yourself from tribal sentiments the better…. Time is running out for Nigerians as Nigeria’s economy is on the brink of total collapse…. Tinubu needs to be removed from office as he is not fit to be Nigeria’s president…. His tribalistic government has failed and will destroy this country if Nigerians choose to remain docile…. It is time for Nigerians to rise and take back the country…. jogojogo: |

As I said earlier their eyes will clear when Naira hit N2000 to $1 we will learn by force…. Tribalism and hate on national issues doesn’t benefit anyone…. They are defending a crook who made it clear that he will continue from where Buhari stopped just because he is a Yoruba man…. They will definitely learn the hard way…. ChybuzzDD: |

Bebigiby1:The problem here is that every Nigerian, irrespective of ethnicity, is suffering the misrule and destruction being caused by people from those 2 ethnic regions. It would have been better if the sufferings were limited only to their people/regions. |

This is one of the reason why I advocated for restructuring of our political system that will weaken the center and empower our states/regions…. We need a decentralized system of governance that will foster peace, justice, equity and fairness…. Many Nigerians are too selfish and tribalistic that’s why the current centralized system of governance can’t benefit everyone…. ChybuzzDD: |
