North must not dare leave Nigeria now.
Not after the genocide on the East, raping and economic sabotage since 1967.

Do you know the meaning of genocide ?

In actual fact, igbos died for trying to opt out of the One Nigeria, they conceived, birthed and nutured for decades.

As the dollar continues to rise against the Naira and the economy bites harder these calls to divide the country will only get louder in the North…. To avert the impending doom that will eventually engulf this nation only a restructuring of our political system that will devolve more power from center to states/regions can stop what is coming…. Tinubu set off the flame by imposing a Muslim/Muslim ticket on the nation….. this fire he has started may eventually consume this country….

Dudheads everywhere!

The Igbo man has been hated & despised because he wanted to go his own way since 1966. If ona try divide onasef comot, the rest of the country will first kill you people as much as you killed the Igbos and strip the north of every single free benefit they have been enjoying, before we let you go. Nonsense, after their broda has finished the country they now want to runaway, lai lai we die here!! MU-MU ticket pipo. cool

You and your ilk on this forum are so gullible. Do you think the North really wants to leave? Be deceiving yourself. They are sending subliminal messages to first, the military which is dominated by them, and then to the peoples of the North to start an insurrection. Think. Why are they doing this? Why are the elites desperate to ruin everything? It's simply because Tinubu reneged on them and his really dealing with them. He has been busy blocking every holes these terrible beings have been using to rape Nigeria blind. He has been cutting off their influence and power and they are now panicking. The food and dollar scarcity was created by them to fight him back. And as naturally wicked and greedy Nigerian business people are, they are following the cue to the detriment of the masses. Do you think it is by accident that BH and Fulani terrorists are everywhere. It's a long term plan to frustrate any Southern president from fixing Nigeria. If it was Tinubu that was president instead of GEJ when BH started, he would have crushed them before they fostered because he is as crazy as anything. He doesn't fear them. GEJ did, though.

Lord Lugard did not consult any Igbo man before glueing the country together.

Quit your armchair ramblings.

'Subliminal' 'reneged', pls can you tell us the details of the said deal Tinubu is reneging on with the North? Which hole is being blocked by an administration that announced "subsidy is gone" but cannot account for a single penny saved since May 29th, last year?? As for "crushing Boko Haram", your Messiah's political party in 2014 wrote to the United States to block the sale of arms to GEJ's administration because according to them, a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the North. Abi you were not old enough to comprehend political sabotage then?? Why won't terrorists & bandits be everywhere now, when for eight years this same party pampered and feted them while your Tinubu applauded the whole thing! The only thing I can seem to agree with you on is that he is certainly crazy to think the job of being president is a walk in the park. Campaign is over, oya coman do the magic you claimed to be master of, instead na so so explanations with no evidence. grin

What has "age" got to do with "Fact"? It's a fact that it was you igbos yhat were desirous of "One Nigeria" even to the extent of blackmailin those who suggested inclusion of secession clause in our new constitution, with treason!

The ONLY time igbos had a chance to lead the country, they gave us One ( pseudo-united) Nigeria.
No one wanted one Nigeria except you guys.
Now, we are all suffering from the one Nigeria, you clamoured for.

Kamar is definitely a B...ch

If Nigeria can divide, that would mean Tinubu is doing the Lord's work.

Make everybody pack up and go to their region with immediate effect.

Only those in inter tribal marriages would be allowed to stay in a region not theirs.

Oga, that's not the way it works, if the country breaks up, you only document those not from your region, as long as they are from west Africa, they have a right to stay in your region, except you don't want to be part of ECOWAS.

Same way a Nigerian can stay in Ghana, Togo and so is the same way. You will only be documented....

Whatever holes tinubu is supposed to have closed, he and his "40 thieves" are opening new ones to Rob Nigerians into extinction.
I do agree that the food scarcity was initiated by the northern elite but not necessary to fight tinubu but to weaken the whole southern states and the Middlebelt- food basket of the nation.
As for the dollar scarcity, that has been going on for decades with what is known as roundtripping whereby the banks sells dollars to mallams to sell in the black market with huge profit margin. Consequently, bonafide businessmen can't get dollars (from their banks) for their goods/raw materials and as such, have to resort to the black market, escalating the price of imports into the country.

Yeah, of course, tinubu is not afraid of the North! That was why, when herdsmen killed the daughter of a prominent yoruba leader on Yoruba soil, he deflected saying "where are the cows"?

Tinubu was gifted a "poisoned chalice" by buhari but he was too desperate to refute it. Now that emilokan has finally had his way, let's just watch him run the country, aground. Hopefully then, water will find its own level.

What the Igbo man saw as far back as 1966 is what they are just seeing today

Make I follow you shout....we die here!!!!

Permit me to educate you on the following:

1. The first military Head of State in Nigeria (Gen. Aguiyi Ironsi) was an Igbo man who was brought into power through a Coup d'etat spearheaded by Igbo men. President Azikiwe, an Igbo man was conveniently absent and refused to pressure or dissuade the military, thus allowing the acting President (i.e. Senate President Nwafor Orizu), another Igbo man to officially handover power to Ironsi and thereby truncate the First Nigerian Republic.

2. Aguiyi Ironsi not only failed to punish the coup plotters but went ahead to promulgate the now-infamous "Decree No. 34", which abrogated the country's Federal structure and replaced it with a Unitary one that made the center so powerful at the detriment of the States and Regions.

Igbos not only created the resentment and provocations that led to the 1966 Civil War but also plunged Nigeria into the bad Unitary structure and the killing of Federalism that we are battling with till today.

If we talk about restructuring, it is more or less about going back to the Federalism structure and good old days that Aguiyi Ironsi and his kinsmen killed decades ago.

Well said but two wrongs don’t make a right…. Whatever that happened in the past doesn’t mean that current generation of Igbos should continue to be marginalized or despised by other tribes…. It is time we look ahead and stop dwelling in the past…. if going back to the Federalism structure will ensure peace and prosperity then let all tribes push for it… the blame game over what happened in the 60s will not put food on anyone’s table or change Nigeria’s terrible economic realities….

You are right that we need to look ahead and stop dwelling in the past.

However we cannot move ahead when a lot of Igbos are bent on a revisionist retelling of history, making it seem the Northerners simply hated them without cause in 1966 and that Yoruba are their arch-enemy.

The first step to healing is for the Igbo to admit, if not to anyone but themselves, that their actions in several ways led to the Civil War and then going forward, make appropriate corrections to be able to live and grow peaceably with their co-sojouners in the country called Nigeria. They cannot continue to label Yoruba as "betrayers", Northerners "cattle" and Nigeria "Zoo" or "Zoogeria" and expect support from these same people. Aggression and insults do not win friends.

They should be let go.
In fact, the rest of the country should pay the North to take a hike.

What comes to your mind when you hear "Chad, Niger, Mauritania, and Mali"?
NOTHING, that's what!
They are desert sh*tholes and an independent Arewa will be no different.

We might have choice words for the British, but ultimately, much of the blame rests with Azikiwe.
Awolowo saw the disaster of this unholy union from a country mile.
But the naive opportunist thought he could tame the North.

The entire South and Middle Belt has suffered greatly for that grave error in judgement.

Think about the hundreds of billions of dollars the North has undeservedly misappropriated from Southern resources and productivity.
Think about the avoidable deaths and grievous bodily harm meted out by their protected agents of destruction across the South and Middle Belt.
Think about the lost decades dragging their floundering, self-sabotaging asses that are weighing down the entire South in every index of note.

If they've finally decided it is time to cut bait.
We should profusely thank them for the gesture and gleefully sign the dotted lines before they change their minds.

-Lord

The North will NEVER support any division of Nigeria for exactly the same reasons the Igbo didn't tolerate that idea in 1957. So stop hoping, it will NEVER happen.

And the average Nigerian, in fact over 90% of Nigerians will NEVER vote for any secession. Reason is simple - each Nigerian FAMILY lives on the HOPE of using TRIBAL POLITICS to enter government and then leveraging the massive powers of the Unitary Government system of Nigeria to gain massive wealth.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
