Saintinoo:Nope... Calm down and think. Forget general amount of income per region. Compare per population... Hausas cannot be the wealthiest! Simple. |

Angelfrost:You are absolutely correct. The north is the poorest in this country. The rich northerners deliberately make their people remain poor so they could control them.. The percentage ratio of rich vs poor northerners in this country is "1:10"...... And somebody is claiming that the northerners are the richest... To me they only occupy most of the political powers in Nigeria. But somehow, the narrative is gradually changing and they know that... |

Fedric209:One of them is even arguing with me above...! North that I have lived and worked in. Lol. You can claim that there is more money in the North than in the South, and I won't even bother arguing that fact... But, how many of them have that wealth? What is the wealth distribution among average citizens there compared to the South??! ![]() |

This is the real reason why dollar and other foreign currencies are going up. Millions of naira are being exchanged for dollars, etc to support the japa endeavor. Entire life savings and net worths are being exchanged to collect dollars and pounds to immigrate to another country. It can only take something special to stop this trend. Or else, the naira will continue it's free fall. |

Angelfrost:I laugh at one of them above. I have lived in the north all my life and I know them more than you. I was born in Kano state. The north only have political power. You claim they have more wealth, and yet they have more beggers on the street. The elites in the northern part of the country feeds on the loop hole of the country political system. The northern elites are more united compare to our southern and eastern elites. Infact the Igbo elites are the worse of them all and that is why the Igbo elites can not unite to create a force. Take Nigeria out of the system and u will see this lynched crumble. Do you know how many over night billionaire buhari made during his tenure as president. The joke is, they know the game is about to end, so every opportunity they have to clinch to power they make sure they siphone every kobo from the country treasury to enrich themselves. |
