They’re never scared when taking loans cos it’s taken in the name of the state. If they were to run a business would they take loans anyhow? 27 Likes 6 Shares |

Lagos State is a rich state, revenue enter it's account every second. Lagos State does not need to borrow money, the revenue is enough to cover all it's expenses both capital and current expenditure, unless if there is misappropriation of public fund. I really missed Ambode, he did not give room for misappropriation of Lagos State revenue. Ambode made life easy for Lagosians. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

Better don't copy Buhari and plunge the state into unmanageable debt. Buhari claimed Nigeria has the lowest debt to GDP ratio and we can continue borrowing as we like. Now see where it get us. Sanwo Olu should not create problem for the coming generations with dumb loans. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Debt isn’t bad if used for rightful purposes. Gov Sanwo-Olu, take Lagos off the grid before you leave and build a power generating station. Will be a game changer for the state. It’s close to the coast, so Lagos can harness wind, solar and even gas. We can also start incinerating waste for power generation. All these can be combined for a solid 2000 mega watt. We can sell some to neighbouring state and retain them if we need them in the future. Also, electricity sold to Lagosians would mean money would be generated to pay back debt. We will have streetlights and CCTV across the state for enhanced security that state police could utilise once the bill gets passed in the NA. Gov, think proactively and May God continue to be your guide!! 12 Likes 1 Share |
