State governors are making a lot of money in their states through levies from commercial motorcycles,Keke and buses.They also make money from traders.I don't see why they won't be able to share palliatives without federal government intervention.

Even Lagos state that is the most financial buoyant state in Nigeria courtesy of it being a former federal won't get 30Billion naira not to talk of other states.

You think 30Billion is 30Million or 300Million?

Akpabio even said "Unverified reports" A whole senate president saying such. Doesn't he know his words as senate president carries weight?

So in all these crisis it was just 2Billion they have given the states as palliative and they are already asking for it.

You can see the federal government is inherently wicked

Each State got N7bn monthly from October to December as Infrastructure support. Then another N9bn in January as share of signature bonus. This is outside the normal FAAC and VAT allocations. If my Governor isn’t aware of this N30bn, he should ask his Accountant General and Commissioner of Finance.

Governors have done worse things in the past. What about the covid 19 palliatives they refuse to distribute at such desperate moment?

He has done nothing to cushion the hardship. Adding a token to salary is nothing. Besides, civil servants are relatively few. What makes him think he only owes civil servants. He is supposed to be a Governor to all.
