I happen to live in Onitsha Anambra State. This morning while I was waking up, the lawyer and some tout came in to the house and started ejecting my things that I have not paid rent for the year. There was no written or oral notification from them. I pleaded yet they refused. I lost some of my property to this and they damage many things.

You must have not noticed when the rent you paid ended so the landlord notified you.

What makes a good tenant? Because of what an uncivil attitude of evicting people. Remember a landlord was also a tenan before. Because of some people like you that is why we are like this as a Nigerian. Owing rent is never a crime, even international embassies owed rent in Nigeria.

Ogah, you are telling Igbo man does not owed rent? You are not saying the truth. When I first came in to the house, about 3 years back. A lot of things going that I have to challenge. My landlord is a good man who doesn't stay in the house but handed the property to a lawyer. Even the lawyer is staying far away. A situation where a group of person's in the house will form a bill for all tenant, at the end will go and use it to drink beer. Where some section will have enough water and refused to pump for others because it doesn't matter to them. Bitterness and envy. Hmmmm!

You think Landlords or Lawyers are dumb? They know what the law says about evicting tenants but I am sure the OP is one stubborn tenant who has either been physically avoiding the landlord that’s why he came very early in the morning or he has been proving stubborn. I know their type

How do you know I avoided lawyer? How could I in the first place. Evicting me from the house is not a problem and will never be a problem. The way they went about it is what I complained about. They supposed give notice of at least a week. Within the week, I don't leave then, they have every right to force my eviction. Honestly last to be frank things were bad which made paid the insta mentally. This year my plan is to pay everything at once by next month. Why can't the lawyer noticed me? That's very wicked! But all I know is that we shall be alright last last
