That’s the way forward.

Government MUST without delay import food and sell at very subsidized prices to citizens as a short term plan.

Next ensure security in all communities.
Next grain to farmers.
Result: Food surplus again as it was in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and as far as GEJ’s government.

Now yahoo boys don get format.
Soon u go dey receive messages on ur phone and emails concerning fake custom auctioning.

Come to think of it: why not government open border on importation of rice and noodles while they close against exportation?

This might help in bringing down d cost of rice....

NAFDAC should be involved in this to check the status of these products before letting out to the public..

Let it not be that they are expired, not good for human consumption or dangerous to the health..

Let's not in the process of solving one problem , now having multiple problems..

My advice..

I just don't understand the fact that some of us have phobia for good news. As in good news irritates them. How it's gon be sold is a different case but the fact that there a thought of selling it to the masses is commendable.
We complain about govt every time but we citizen are also part of the problem. I mean, with this news now, someone somewhere will already be planning on how he/she is gon buy multitude of this items and hoard them and sell at higher price later. Why can't we just go there buy one and just leave? We are too greedy and selfish.
Stop ranting ignorantly, if you can show us anyone you know that later got to buy a bag tell us here.

Or even tell nairalanders the process of securing a bag that will be nice also.

Won't work.

Nigerians are wicked to each other. When individual selfishness comes before common interest, then the whole system will crumble.

Of course few people might be wealthy in a dyfunctional system, but overall, everybody suffers. The world is enough for everyone's need, not everyone's greed.

So-called smart people who I see as idiot anyway, will buy all, stock it up and sell it more expensive.

This is what you get when most of the citizens are utterly underdeveloped individual, that can't think beyond their greed.

if is possible to regulate and control it for individual to buy it at least 1 bag and such person will be capture so that he or she will not come back next day to buy again that can only help them so that it will reach everybody like IREV process it will be network across each locations once you have capture in ogun state for example and you come to lagos to buy again the same system will identify such person of no access to buy again
