Owo, Ondo State - Today, February 23, friends, family, and dignitaries gathered at the St. Andrews Church on Imola Street to bid farewell to the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu. The somber occasion was marked by heartfelt tributes and fond memories of the governor who passed away in December 2023 after battling a prolonged illness.

The funeral service was attended by several prominent figures, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, state governors, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje. The atmosphere was one of both mourning and celebration as speakers recounted Akeredolu's impactful legacy and contributions to the state.
