Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, on Friday accused former President Muhammadu Buhari of destroying the Nigerian economy.

Igboho said Buhari handed over a bad economy to President Bola Tinubu.

Addressing his followers in Oyo State, the freedom fighter insisted that Tinubu is not responsible for the hardship in the country.

Speaking in Yoruba, Igboho urged Yorubas to unite and liberate the Southwest from armed Fulani herders.

He said, “Tinubu didn’t destroy the government; my pain with Yorubas is that while Buhari was in power, I was shouting that we should unite and free ourselves from this suffering. Buhari has nothing to offer us.

“I said we should divide from Fulani because one Nigeria can’t work but they refused to listen to me. Buhari now handed over a government he had destroyed to Tinubu.

“Now some Yorubas are crying that they are hungry, have you seen Igbos crying? They have sent all Fulanis out of their lands and they are farming, doing what they want with their lands.

“Why can’t Yorubas unite and liberate the Southwest from Fulanis so that our fathers and mothers can return to their farmlands?”

A coward is romancing BAT for forgiveness and protection.

Wasn't BAT part of Buhari's regime?

And didn't BAT praise Buhari and promise to continue from where Buhari stopped?

Two-edged swords.

Mumu talk. No be Tinubu bring Buhari?

Didn't he also say he go was going to continue from where Buhari stopped?

Was it Buhari that said on his inaguration that subsidy is gone?

Was it Buhari that floated the naira?

Nonesense!

Well. He is right about Buhari's leaving a carcass for Tinubu, but that is no excuse.

Both Tinubu and Buhari belong to the same party even though political parties have no ideologies in Nigeria. Hence, the way Nigerian politicians decamp from one party to another like oloshos jumping on different pricks. E.g. Alex Otti is an APC at heart but a labour party member to win election

Tinubu and his team must do what they promised to do since he put himself out here. It's also for them to assure Nigerians that while the reforms may bite, it is for a greater good to correct the mess Nigeria has been in for years.

All tribes are bearing the brunt of the reforms including the Fulanis, but some regions are more vocal than the other while others also protest in different ways..

The southwest seems to be in confused mode.
While one pan-Yoruba activist, Aare Kurunmi Kakanfo guy on X is blaming the southeast for their problems.
Our brother igboho is here blaming fulani.
Yoruba ronu. Get yourseves together.

The major problem of the average yoruba man is tribalism and turning a blind eye to evil because it your brother. The evil always comes back to hunt you.

Buhari had always been labelled as a destroyer, killer and evil man by the likes of tinubu, soyinka etc. But the moment they were able to strike a deal with buhari in 2014, buhari became a saint to them.

There are great honest southwestners but the tribal evil ones among them are loud and have caused them so much damage.

Which portfolio did you give BAT under Buhari? "National Leader of APC" was only an honorary and not even an Executive Committee membership.

You should first ask BAT why he campaigned for Buhari and said he would continue from where Buhari stopped.

There seems to be a paradigm shift now, where it is permissible to blame the previous Government. This same Buhari that you people have suddenly realise handed a dead economy to BAT, was the same person you all defended during his term and labeled anybody that said the truth then an enemy of the imaginary state. For now, defence for BAT is still on, after his own tenure, we'll absorb the new person of any blame and focus on how BAT handed over a rotten economy to that him.
My country people never want wise up.

You’ve transferred all your bitterness and bile towards Tinubu from buhari . Buhari is now a saint in you people’s eyes .
Someone you said he didn’t have certificate, had certificate when Tinubu was battling is CSU scandal just to spite Tinubu.

Despite the Hardship inflicted by Buhari and Emifiele during cashless policy during elections
Your likes supported it because you think it’ll favor your candidate.

Ali Ndume you people hated so much during GEJ’s government is your latest bride because he’s opposing the man you love to hate.

When Buhari was borrowing with reckless abandon all of you were crying that buhari and Ameachi is selling your unborn generations to the Chinese .

Tinubu came and said he doesn’t want to borrow much so you people will not accuse him of selling your future you still complain .

Your love for Nigeria is not genuine, Tinubu should with immediate effect give you people Biafra let’s see if Eboyin state won’t be the first to opt out because Of marginalization all what you people criticize is the exact thing you’ll do I’m not a unity beggar.

I remember pre elections , you guys we’re romancing the Yorubas to get vote, you said all manner of things , like let’s build a better Nigeria, Nigeria is the only country we’ve bla bla
. Some Yorubas voted in mass , but today you forget that but insult all the Yorubas including the ones who voted your candidate.

Before it was INEC rigged the election, Nigerians hands were twisted by INEC .
All of a sudden now ,Nigerians deserved who they voted for 😂😂 like how?

So all this while you knew Nigerians vote counted but you spread falsehood to incite violence so the elections can canceled knowing fully well your candidate lost?
I’m happy I don’t follow politics with emotions or bandwagon, I don’t mind to be a lone supporter

This narrative of 'taking over a bad economy' is stale by 9yrs already! OBJ took over a worse economy and managed to bring Nigeria back from the doldrums by sheer strength of will. He didn't make excuses because he already had a plan and stuck to it. This party that has never had a manifesto but is quick with name-calling and propaganda had no plan beyond grabbing power for owner sake!
