If you took out Russia out of the USSR and pit them against Nazi Germany. They would have no chance. The war wasn't a joke, I like to assume you know the number of casualties on both sides.

The US might not be the saviour of the World obviously, but you can't rule out their contributions. Everyone fighting the war was fighting for themselves not doing the US any favour. The US showed great leadership in the War.

The US was safe out of Nazi Germany's ambitions, but they fought regardless along side them. Europe have a different relationship with the US.

WW2 has ended and the World has moved on, I'm not arguing I'm just telling you.

By now you should have realized the difference between the USSR and Russia.
