I understand your points. But Trump is not a baby politician either.

I'm sure all the elites you reffered to didn't all align in one direction. Some of them will have values similar to Trump's. Infact, if Trump didn't contest, he himself is among the top elites that sponsors presidents and governors to office.

Remember, in one of his debates with Clinton, he boldly stated he has no strings attached to him unlike other politicians who need the money of the elites to sponsor their presidential bid. He does not depend on any elite's money or cabal to run his campaign and steer people's votes towards him.

That MF is badass politician. Nobody expected him to beat Clinton exactly the same way nobody will expect him to beat Biden.
