The cold hands of death have claimed the life of Chantel Sakwe , the beloved wife of US-based Yoruba actor Tayo Adeleye.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2023, Tayo Adeleye shared the heartbreaking news through a video, expressing his profound loss as he bid farewell to his wife. The final burial ceremony occurred in the United States, with family and friends gathering to pay their respects.

In his early 50s, Tayo Adeleye patiently waited 15 years to find the woman of his dreams. The couple joyfully tied the knot in December 2020, only to be separated by death's unexpected arrival.

Tayo fondly remembered his late wife as his guiding light and partner in joy and sorrow. He tearfully acknowledged the deep void her absence has left but emphasized that her love continues to illuminate his path. "Until we meet again, my beloved wife, rest peacefully in the arms of eternity," he cried.

Condolence messages flooded social media as friends and well-wishers expressed their sympathies and wished Chantel eternal rest.

Born in 1979, Chantel Sakwe Adeleye passed away in 2024, and at the time of this report, the cause of her demise remains unknown.
