A 26-year-old woman, Omorogbe Soni, has been arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command for assault after she was captured on camera assaulting a policeman in Ajah on February 21, 2024. The incident occurred when Soni engaged in a heated argument with the policewoman and subsequently pushed her, causing her to fall to the ground. According to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on his X account on Tuesday, Soni was presented before the Etiosa Magistrates’ Court in Ajah on February 22, 2024. She has since been remanded in the Kirikiri Female Correctional Centre until the next court sitting scheduled for March 27, 2024.

The Lagos State Police Command advises Lagosians to remain law-abiding in their day-to-day activities with all and sundry as anyone found guilty of violating the law would be dealt with in accordance with the law.

In your country the law is like a cobweb, it only catches the small insects while the big animals breaks through it.

This does not justify pushing a police officer down. The fact that some people are bigger than the law, shouldn't make you(common man) lawless.
Even those "bigger" than the law, sometimes run out of luck and face the consequences.

Okay, he meant even the big animals that go through the cobweb can still fall prey to a snake or a bigger spider or even the small cobweb may one day become so dense that it can catch the big animal, you know something like that.

What exactly do you make out of the post? That pushing the officer is right? If officers get caught on camera maltreating Nigerians, they get published. Same goes to you if you get caught on camera assaulting officer. Try to purge yourself of wrong mindset.

Online noise would only last for 2 months and she will be released, she did not kill.

And funny enough it's not in your constitution so don't carry oyibo cops palava Force enter 9ja own .

This and many other reasons people want the constitution amended

Only if she has a strong back up that can facilitate her quick release. Don't joke with nainja police bro. Even innocent people are sometimes kept behind bars for years not to talk of when yhu now get into a fight with one of their own.
