Well done professionals in the house.
Please I'm on a budget and I need a list of solar materials (with durable not too expensive brands) that I need to setup a solar system. Let's say 5kva system with lithium ion battery. I would like to buy the most expensive materials (battery, panel, inverter etc) of the setup myself then leave the others to installation engineer. Thank you sirs.

I am now ready to add solar panels to my inverter system. My current set up consist of:

1. Sorotec 3.5kva 24v Hybrid inverter with 100A MTTP CC
2. 24V 300ah (7,680KWH) Lithium-ion LiFePO4 battery

I am considering going for 6-8 pieces of Jinko 435W/475W Monofacial Solar Panel. I want to buy the panels directly from LG Nigeria (Ibadan) since they're a trusted brand.

Please advice if my choice suit my current set. Thank you.

your choice is very much on track. go ahead. 8pcs of 435w/475w is cool, for faster battery charging and meduim/heavy day time usages.

Let me show you how to HELP YOUR SELF
To get total number of Solar Panels required depending on Inverter Capacity.
Size of Inverter Divided By Wattage of a single solar panel of your choice
hence let's say you intends buying 300W solar panels, but don't know how many pieces you would be needing.

Let's also assume your target is a 3KVA inverter system

Then to get the Number of Solar Panels required, you do 3KVA / 300w

But mathematically, 3KVA means 3,000VA

hence 3,000 / 300 = 10 Solar Panels.

Let's assume we prefer a 200w solar panel since a 300W solar panel is Heavier, hence our calculation would now be 3,000va / 200w = 15 Solar Panels

PS: Kindly note that, even though our formular above says 10-Panels, you still could get away with 4pcs of Solar Panels. Of course it would never work like it ought to be, should you have used the minimum required which is 10-pcs of 300w.
This is expecially TRUE for una wey sabi use 2pcs of 200AH batteries onTop 3KVA or 3.5KVA inverter.

readyMade is never cheaper. Neither is it upGradeAble without incuring financial losses

No be only the type of Sorotec I bought, just Google about Sorotec inverters, you will read a lot of sorry stories about it. Most of those sorry stories are from the western countries. If you remember, some members on this tread have spoken out against Sorotec inverters. The Sorotec I bought only worked for about 3 or 4 months before she died. Before her death, she was throwing up several problems. I had to reach out to Sorotec engineers myself & was communicating with them.

Have been using Felicity 3kw 100a MPPT hybrid inverter since first week in Nov 2022 & not a singly issue.
