In this raging economy, trying out new things can be fun incase you don't have enough to fill your belly. Below is a nice delicacy which is a good source of protein, calcium, potassium and sodium. Also, its know to have a low anti-nutrient content, which means they have less side effects than other meats. 30 Likes 5 Shares

I will rather dry and grind into powder then raise a chicken I can eat with these or drop them into fishpond to raise fishes I can eat. Same for lizards and all other inedible rodents or animals around. Even ants too. Chickens are eco-sysyem food converters. 18 Likes 5 Shares |

Must it always be about animals? Ask how Nigerians survived the dark years between June 12, 1993 and liberation after Abacha's death in 1998. There are very healthy plant-based meat alternatives that Nigerians have been doing long before celebrity oyinbo healthy-living bloggers got primetime. Also, that period gave birth to the popularity of Zobo, Kunu, Wara-Soya (see image below) etc. Tough times never last but tough people do (Robert Schuller). That period came and passed, this period will pass too. However, the poor will remain among us. It all depends on what you do during the time of adversity. Over 200 million people can't be busy complaining about food and government handout, that is stupid and shameful. Let's rise up as real men and women. 16 Likes 1 Share

Alternative to those who eat them. I only eat funny kinds of animals. Goat Cow Chicken... It was until recently before I started eating Turkey. After these 4 and fish, count me out on all other meat, my stomach will eject them out. 5 Likes 1 Share |
