It's going to be a big battle in Edo.

Election in Edo state is about the candidates and not about the political party.
Edo voted massively for Labour Party because of their believe in the competence of Peter Obi.
In the forth coming Election, Asue Ighodalo is the most competent of all candidates based on his antecedence.

That is why people are aligning towards him and not because of PDP.

FS Yusuf is another big Edo state Obidient on twitter with a large following (almost 500k). He has now thrown his weight behind the PDP candidate.

You want to take it personal not that you want to make a change, no difference between you and the PDP.

The term Politics is very very unpredictable, what is obtainable in the year 2024, may not be obtainable in the year 2025. Only change is constant. That Edo people supported LP in 2023 general election doesn't mean they're going to be supporting it's gubernatorial candidate in 2024 Edo gubernatorial election.

Peter Obi is a clown if not he would have insisted that his party gives its ticket to Edo central which is in line with the general sentiments in Edo state. APC had to change course when its primaries did not meet that sentiment. PDP same thing. But Peter Obi is a criminal with ulterior motives, his agenda to subdue a certain part of Edo state which is in line with his broader aim of subduing a certain religion in Nigeria if he succeeds in deceiving Nigerians to power, was why he ensured that the party primaries was skewed in favour of a bini man.

Sounds funny to me when I see Obidients saying "people have rights to vote who they want".... The same right they tried to take away from others prior to 2023 elections.

I will take PDP over LP any time of the day. Atleast PDP don't bully others to vote LP. However, Obidients will bully others to vote LP, but when it's an election in a region where they are large in Numbers, they start preaching on why they are free to vote any candidate of their choice.

They did same with Enugu (Peter Mbah), and samething is now happening in Edo State. Maybe they think people are not observing their hypocrisy.

When people ask why APC and Tinubu does not respond to Obi and LP, here's the reason.

Have you ever seen APC working against their candidates at State levels? No one dares go against the choice candidates of APC. We all saw the damage the G5 governors did to the PDP in the last election; continue.
