Personally; My Household And I Are Wisely Cultivating Yams, Ugwu, Pepper And Tomatoes Using Cement Sacs And Wasted Satchets of Water.

We Started The Adventures of Yam Sac Farming In The Month of January This Year - During The Dry Season.

Last Month of February; We Incorporated Ugwu Seeds To The Yam Sacs After The Yams Have Started Shooting.

This Morning; I Sowed Pepper Seeds into The Wasted Satchets Before Advancing To Church - WINNERS CHAPEL.

Maize and cassava.
Omo, Great NEWS.

Everyone is Planting Cassava.

Cassava Should Be A Collective Focus For Our Nigerian Youths.

It is Cheap And Easy To Cultivate Compared To Other Crops.

It's Usage is Also Very Versatile Compared To Other Crops.

The Use Cases of Cassava Include:

- Garri,

- Fufu,

- Animal Feeds (From Cassava Peels),

- African Salad,

- Custard,

- Industrial Starch,

- Emulsion Paints,

- Liquid Fertilizer, Herbicides And Pesticides etc.

What is Your Expected Yield on Maize ?

We Have Processing Companies Ready To Buy All Your Dried Maize After Harvest.

Are You Producing in Large Quantities ?

Cassava has many uses as you rightly stated.m and it is in high demand currently with good price too.

We have an ethanol plant in Benue State and it will interest you to know that just the state alone has not been able to meet the demand of the ethanol factory in the state. Day in day out you will see truck loads of cassava entering the state from neighbouring states like Nassarawa, Kogi, Enugu and even Taraba state.

The demand is high for both industrial use and family use (fufu/Akpu and also cassava mixed with corn to get corn food). With high demand brings good price. If God willing, i will farm atleast 2 hectares of cassava and also maize this year.
