The reported deaths of actor and comedian John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu and ex-goalkeeper of the Super Falcons, Bidemi Aluko Olaseni, is a big loss to our creative and sports industries. These two great Nigerians have lived to give us happy moments in entertainment and the beautiful game. They will be sorely missed. I pray that the Almighty shall grant their souls a peaceful repose and comfort to the grieving families and the country. Rest in peace, Mr. Ibu. RIP to this legend. This man made my childhood. Cracked millions of African ribs. Listed in over 200 different Nollywood films most of which he appeared to make us laugh. He was a singer too. In 2010, he released his songs titled “This Girl” and “Do You Know” which I later grew up to know was sung by "Dede One Day" another comedy beast who is now deceased alongside Sam Loko Efe. Everything about him was funny as hell, most especially when he tried to get serious. Always appearing being fooled and, taken advantage of. Most of his roles are unscripted yet he makes you laugh and forget your sorrows. Rest in peace, Mr Ibu. Rest in Peace Sisi Quadri. When this man was sick , his family solicited for funds to fly him abroad but the response from the public was so low. Now he is dead, everyone is uploading status like they really missed him.
