NEWBIN:God of Israel who instituted the speaking to His Prophets of Old via dreams and visions in Numbers 12 vs 1 - 6 put a seal on Prophets Prophets & visions(dreams included) - Daniel 9 vs 24 -- about 1900 years ago. Jesus Christ never promised His followers that they would receive anything through dreams or visions from Him. So which deity is it that gives you these dreams you ask of @Op?  1 Like |

Janosky:Jesus Christ in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 declared Himself God over all those who are of the Kingdom of God. He said He is the Judge and Ruler to determine the end for every one of those who are born-again — the eternal fate of all goats and sheep is in His Hands. He is God over them all. . So why do you need Him to First have to say "I am God in the Kingdom of God" before you even realize the place He occupies over the lives(and souls) of those who submit to becoming part of a Kingdom that belongs to Him? This ain't rocket science for Pete's sake! No other human being has ever occupied such a place over the eternal realities of other human beings. NEWBIN:God spoke to His people in ancient times using an Israelite from any of the tribes with dreams and visions but after Jesus only through Jesus God speak with His worshipers! Hebrews 1:1-2 Back then God only reveal messages having to do with His purposes not some personal life of someone who has nothing to do with God's purpose for the earth. So it's false gods that always see visions about personal life of individuals as these gods have nothing to do with the future of entire human race. Today everything that the true God wants to tell His worshipers has been written in the Bible that's why such revelations is no longer needed hence it seized! 1Corinthians 1:13:8-10 |

NEWBIN:Before the Bible (God's word) was compiled God inspired men through different means (dreams including) but after the Bible has been completed God doesn't speak to anyone again so to hear from God you must read and study His word: Bible. |

NEWBIN:They don't. They don't believe in any supernatural visions, healings, angelic appearances or dreams in our time. They believe all that passed away after the apostles died. They believe that these gifts were given by the laying of hands of the apostles or during their presence. So when the apostles died, the gift ceased. Of course they're wrong. The gift is not tied to the apostles. God is the one distributing the gift. Ananias was not an apostle, it was evidently through him that apostle Paul got his laying of hand. |

NEWBIN:How i wish to see where the other guy is going to end his criticism of JWs.  Well initially i wanted to discuss based on mutual understanding but as it is i will tell you what is happening. God inspired men to pass information to other men that's the purpose of visions and dreams but until His word is complete visions and dreams continues so by the time the Bible's final messages were revealed God said "NO ADDITION NO SUBTRACTION" {Revelations 22:18-19} so God will no longer speak to anyone again as His words is complete all we need is to study His word with our fellow believers and Jesus will be present as a spirit being to chairman such gathering! Matthew 18:20 That's what God promised in the Bible book of Jeremiah 31:33-34 each of us will have a copy of God's word to distinguish between right and wrong. So how come these visions and dreams in our time? They are inspired expressions from Satan and Demons {Revelations 16:13-14} for what purpose? To create contradictions so that when a so called prophet, pastor or bishop say he has been inspired others will also be inspired to counter whatever the first one says. Contradictions will lead to dispute, dispute will lead to strife, strife will lead to war and they will start fighting and killing themselves {Revelations 6:3-4} that's why Jesus said Satan is the father of rebellious religionists {John 8:44} as the God of this system of things {2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 5:19} he sends contradictions to promote hatred among them using INSPIRED EXPRESSIONS with modern visions and dreams! But for Jehovah's Witnesses that believe only in God's inspired words we will use what we found in it to resolve our disparities peacefully among ourselves, we will divert our resources into production of food and information materials, we will stop producing, buying, selling and using of weapons in our gathering and vow never to learn war again! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3 That's the reason why God gave us the Bible (complete word of God) to guide us so instead of contradictions like those who feels they must also be inspired we are united as ONE! John 17:22 compare to 1Corinthans 1:10 Please ask your friend why their God has been causing contradictions among his worshipers leading them to fighting and killing themselves but Jehovah's Witnesses are no part of such fighting and killings!
