Those BRT drivers are maniacs, the way they drive that bus, you will think they are outside to hit every pedestrians, they intentionally don't match brakes when they see pedestrians trying to cross the road and that's wickedness. I hope they prosecute the driver for manslaughter. |

Exousiang01: Emotion aside, if you see someone doing the wrong thing, does that mean you should do the wrong thing as well and hit them? What happens to matching brake when you see pedestrians crossing and also, you're saying they ought to have take pedestrian bridge, what if the bridge isn't close to where they are or have you lost your sense of reasoning? 1 Like |

omniwater: It's even criminal offence to even cross that expressway without using the pedestrian bridge. Haba, why would a sane mother cross that busy expressway with 3 kids? As at 1998, the penalty for crossing was #10,000 fine or a month imprisonment. 2 Likes |

These BRT bus drivers are way too overzealous for my liking. That you are driving on a dedicated bus lane does not mean you should throw all caution to the wind and drive fast and furious. It's even so that you exercise extreme care knowing fully well the habit of Lagosians in crossing the lanes. He should rot in jail honestly. |

omniwater: If he's on the brt lane and driving at or below the speed limit with caution he can not be accused of driving recklessly. No one should be crossing the road with kids. Not one but two toddlers how daft can you be 1 Like |

I wonder how people like you react to a news. How is their crossing related to drug master? What happened to the mother ensuring that the road was safe for crossing before endangering the lives of those children and herself? Why rush when the road will still be free at a particular time? Our safety is in our hands to an extent cos I see people cross carelessly and I wonder if they will get to their destination if something goes wrong like this. It is not everything that leaders should be blamed for. Xscape1993: |

omniwater: Do you drive a motor vehicle sir, I always pray to God that I don't come across an unfortunate pedestrian or cyclist. Some months back this stupid boy saw me coming down the road and I saw him, he didn't have right of way he was attempting to cycle past the main road from standstill and as soon as I was within a few feet of him he started his poorly considered push and I had to jam on the brakes and turn the car away as I came to a halt within a few inches of him, I thought I was about to hit him but thank God because no matter what no one would give enough consideration to the driver. There are pedestrian crossing and cycle lanes for a good reason people should learn to use them, I cycle as well and I give motorists the respect they deserve. 1 Like |

Where you at the SCENE? the answer is NOPE. why create a scenario when you ain't there, a friend was involved in an accident as a driver only small contact the guy head cracked at OWODE-ONIRIN the only saving grace was that the police men saw what happened and came to the rescue, i witnessed it live ,imagine speed not up to 30 km/h oooo so always define accident well before assuming, what you call speed in this brt isn't up to 40 km/h jaxxy: |
