When you have sense to mill the rice well. This is 2024, and you want us to still be eating stone inside rice...meanwhile we grew up eating clean foreign rice. You better catch up and sell at the standard price. We never select stone from beans finish, you want us to join you and be selecting stones from rice. God forbids! |

Questionnaires:I thought I read one of your posts where you said the rice isn't completely destoned, meaning there are stones there... You even suggested in that post that one can buy it, take to Abakaliki to destone For a rice that still has stones in it, I think it's very expensive at your price If I may ask, why can't they destone it in Cross River there? |

mrvitalis:The man is correct. Most of the imported rice we consume in Nigeria were produced many years ago (some are about 10 years) but stored in silos and sold out because they are at the tail end of their nutritional values and most are unfir for consumption in their host countries but sold to poor African countries like Nigeria. Similar things are true for frozen chicken. If you cook Nigerian rice and imported rice (and Frozen imported chicken Vs locay raissd chicken) you will easily notice the differences in tasts |

oyatz:That's not the point, people prefer the imported rice and are willing to pay higher for it You sell what people want, not wanting them to want what you sale |

Yampotatocarrot:It can be destoned in Obubra, Cross River State Too. Abakaliki is also close to this environment. |

Yampotatocarrot:The setup of a Rice Mill ? Or The Purchasing And Destoning of Local Rice @ Abakaliki ? What Exactly ? My Mission For Starting Up This Thread is Actually To Open Up The Untapped Investment Opportunity in The Processing of Our Local Rice. The Mission is To Start A Rice Mill With Complete Facilities that: Mills The Rice, Destone The Rice, Polish The Rice, And Bags The Rice. Yakurr is one of The Highest Producers of Local Rice in This Region, However - The Rice Millers Here Are Only Concerned About Milling The Rice Because They Sell Directly To The Locals Who Take The Time To Sieve Their Rice Before Cooking. We Can Harness The Power of Being Intellectuals And Business Oriented To Set Up A Rice Mill with Complete Facilities So That We Roll in Business. Let Me Know What You Mean By "Can You Run It For Someone" ? |

Spandau:Stop Talking From An Unreaistic Point of View. No Local Rice Farmers Exports Their Rice To Any Neighboring Country When They Enjoy Patronage from Plenty of Sellers Directly At The Mill. If You Know How FAST And COMPETITIVE People Rush To The Local Rice Mills To Buy Rice; You Wouldn't Be Here Writing From IGNORANCE Just To Score An INVALID POINT. |

gabbytabby:Good One. I'm Glad You Enjoy "Mama's Pride". That is A Fully Destoned Local Rice Being Ran By Wise Rice Investors Who Focused on The Complete Processing Aspect of Rice. If You Are A Novice in Rice Farming, As An Investor - You Don't Need To Rush Investing Millions into Rice Farming When You Can Enjoy Massive Profits from Setting Up A Complete Rice Processing Mill. Due To Lack of Experience, Many Naive Investors Have Lost So Much Money into Farming That Takes Long Term Planning And Efforts When They Should Have Just Focused On "PROCESSING" And "VALUE ADDITION". Thanks For Dropping Your Input. Man Wey Sabi. |
