I used to admire Anambra 1st son, when He showcases indigenous industries in Anambra. Infact it's a thing of pride for igbos, but always showing this high way everytime is a very big low. It's obvious they ain't pushing soludo to build and complete quality street roads and not just a section of poorly tarred roads.
A state capital is the image of any state and shouldn't be shrouded with propaganda.

This is wetheral Owerri, a state road
I also do admire him especially for his zeal to showcase developments in Anambra and also standing up for the lgbo nation here when bigots from the other side rear their ugly heads but the issue hear is that he posted a road that does not worth frontpage. A tiny road with open gutters and no street light and l politely told him that he should have just post this in Anambra thread instead of here but in their usual predictable manner, he went insulting" your backward state this your backward state that" and I decided to tell him the bitter truth.
It is not every project that is fit for a state government, we saw the road posted here few weeks ago done by Seyi Makinde of Oyo state , that is the state project that should be celebrated l don't even want to talk about Abia he will think we are maligning Soludo because of Otti.
By the time Otti finishes Port Harcourt road and Umuahia township road he must have done more road projects l mean mega projects than all Anambra governors from 1999 till date.

Is this a rural project or what ? Are you sure it's a professor that's doing this thing?
Please boss, go back to threads on indigenous industries, I enjoy them more

Don't mind the idi*ts dey will come from their various states to vote Soludo out, GovSoludo will celebrate two years in office in few days by the time he is through before election any candidate contesting against him just want to waste resources go and mark it, he will win all the local governments in the state

You don come again. Na so you hype former governor, Willie M Obiano to oblivion. Now na Soludo.

He should be preparing his handover notes. He has failed woefully.

That man Soludo is monumental failure of a governor.
To think that Anambra people braved all odds to queue to vote this one is shocking

Good when this is completed you can post it here and we will celebrate it, you don't give your enemies the opportunity to mock you.
When they mock you, all lgbos are mocked not just Anambra. Our governors are doing well let's be patient and showcase worthy projects.

The truth is that if that picture had come from Abia state I wouldn't have criticized it why because Otti took over a dead state and anything there is applausible while Soludo took over a vibrant state and ought to up his game

This is Immigration road from Agu Awka junction to Ifite road was completed by former Gov Obiano[/quot

You aligned with me, Anambra state government since 1999 has just managed to dualize 4 roads which combined are less than 10 kms and you don't see anything wrong in that ? Sullivan Chime alone dualized more than 20 roads in Enugu metropolis.

Where are they , you will dualize 500 meter road and call it something ? Prove me wrong that Nkwelle to Amawbia section of old road is the longest state dualied road in anabra even at less than 3km . Umahi alone dualized more roads than all the Anambra governors since 1999, can you dispute it ? Onitsha as big as it is doesn't have a dual carriage way except the two federal highways that crossed it can you also dispute this ? Anambra has the least dualized state road in the entire country can you dispute that ? The world has moved on, tiny roads are no longer in vogue it is now a sign of underdevelopment
See how you are fooling yourself, the old road that was dualized in Awka is 9.27km

Seven dualized road in Awka alone just released let me cure your ignorant mind
Re: Gov Soludo Transformation Of Fegge Onitsha (photos) by Emmani360(m): 10:38am On Mar 06
Some people are just stupid from birth, so because soludo's opinion does not tally with your own, you want to pretend like he is not working and I'm sure some of you were among those that sang Obianos praise for 8 useless years.

Let me start by saying that I voted for ozigbo and not soludo during the governorship election and I voted for Peter obi during the presidential not because I'm igbo but because I believe he would be a better president and if someone like Ifeanyi uba, Andy uba or orji uzo Kalu should contest for presidency, there are a lot of yoruba and hausa people I'll vote for before I think of voting for those three but I know there are igbos that will vote for an incompetent person just because he is igbo.

I don't even think most of you are intelligent enough to analyze governance. Is soludo perfect?, no, there is room for improvement but he is really trying.
Soludo has done the works he has done without burrowing even when the house approved loans for him in 2022, he still didn't take the loan and I watched his 2024 budget presentation where he said, they will only borrow to fund projects that will pay off its loan not to build roads that won't have toll gates and that's how you run and leave a sustainable govt for the next governor.
An IPP is an example of such project that can pay off its loan and i hope he will borrow and partner with the private sector to build one.

Soludo will decide to dualise a high traffic road that doesn't requires extensive amount of demolition and people will rain curses, he will decide to reconstruct a low traffic road and maintain it as single lane to avoid much demolition and people will still complain
He will decide to demolish and move a market away from city center to reduce the traffic congestion that comes with it and goats will be bleating up and down that he has committed sacrilege and if he decides not to do that, they will say he doesn't know how to structure a modern city.
He will decide to stop trading on roads and indiscriminate parking along busy roads and people will complain that his thugs are destroying their business, is the road meant for selling newspapers and fruits?
If He decide now to adopt a proper waste collection and disposal mechanism and strictly enforce payment of waste levy from businesses and households, people will still protest but they want a clean environment. Why not ask you relatives and friends leaving in civilized country if they do not pay for waste collection even after paying huge taxes to govt

The only governor that has done better solid roads in anambra is Ngige, even during Peter Obi's tenure, 70% or more of the total roads done was done with zero or very poor quality stone base but all the roads I have seen being built by soludo, stone base is being adopted because the amount of rain we get in southern Nigeria demands such but we all want to crucify him because his views differs from the opinion you think every igbo man should have.

Anambra doesn't have much dual carriageways despite the high population density and most are comfortable with that because of land scarcity. All these 1km roads are just as long as entrance into a family compound not befitting to be quoted as major roads.

The reason has nothing to do with land mass, Anambra is bigger than Lagos in landmass but Lagos population is ×3 that of Anambra and Lagos have 6 to 10 lane roads everywhere and land has still not finished in Lagos state.
It is the mentality of their leaders , simple as that.

Same you using different monikers to deceive yourself, you claimed there is no dualized road in Anambra except major express way I showed you seven in Awka alone,bI still used Google satellite map to measure the roads, Ongoing Unizik temspite to Isuaniaicha is 15.5km, Ziks Avenue in Awka is 9.27, Immigration road is 2.41km, Ekwueme square road is 2.73, currently expanding more, Millennium road is 1.74km, GRA road is 1.22km, these are dualized roads in Awka alone outside major express, Onitsha Harbour industrial layout is dualized, Obodo-Ukwu road is currently being dualized, Upper Iweka down flyover to Iweka is being dualized, these are all in Onitsha outside major express roads, Ekwulobia is currently being dualized including flyover, I know you are very envious of Anambra but these are facts
