I actually know that the death of Wigwe Herbert will open up more shits.

My instinct has also asked me if Access Bank will still maintain her stamina after the demise of Wigwe Herbert.

Mrs Cecilia Ibru truthfully came to my mind. Oceanic Bank of those days...

But one question that is begging for an answer, Wigwe's mother, a Nurse, and his Father an average earner. How could he mange to buy Access Brank at the age of thirty-five years,(35)?

On another note, apart from the President and his men, Dangote and few among these Bank CEOs are actually the people running this country.

Let me tell you all the bitter truth, the geometrical ascension of dollar value can only dwindle any moment these people have found that the man on the Street has actually started saving in dollars.

This is just the why Banks are inducing those that have domiciliary dollar account to start selling.

In as much as they want the rich to keep getting richer while the poor gets poorer.

These Aristocrats derive pleasure when they hear you scream "ebipowaoo" even when I don't know it's meaning.

Get your facts rights before rushing to comment and paint anyone in bad light. Dr. Raymond Obieri was still the Chairman of Intercontinental Bank while Dr. Erastus Akingbola was the MD/CEao as at the time it was taken over by Access Bank. No o e has ever come out to say Akingbola hijacked or stole Intercontinental Bank from anyone. If you claim it, please provide evidence.

Erastus used his rights as a director of the bank to borrow funds to finance his purchases of intercontinental bank shares! sidelining all other directors including the mumu chairman! He ran the bank as his personal fiefdom..........we know the full story........including his underhand dealings with RCCG

It is better to state facts rather than unsubstantiated allegations in your bid to tarnish the image of a man. From claims that he hijacked Intercontinental Bank from Igbo owners, it has now come to labelling the Chairman a "mumu" and bringing up additional allegations of using bank funds to buy shares, engaging in underhand dealings and running the bank like his personal fiefdom?! You need to be careful how you throw these unsubstantiated allegations around.

No Bank MD/CEO in Nigeria is a Saint. In respect of personal loans to directors, almost all if not all the banks in the country have done that severally. Go ask Tony Elumelu at UBA, Aig-Imohkuede and Herbert Wigwe at Access Bank, Jim Ovia at Zenith Bank and several others.

You just agreed partially that Erastus that is asking for equity has stained hands! The truth is that Erastus almost turned the Intercontinental bank into his own personal bank........cos the chairman increasingly had limited or no control over him anymore! That is why he over leveraged Intercontinental bank, with a balance sheet top heavy with physical assets but not enuff cash to fend off Accessbank ...................Erastus true to type took opportunity of the chairman's ill health and naivety to take unmatched control of the bank...well Nemesis caught up with him, as it has also caught up with the wigwe guy!na so world be!

The fall of Intercontinental Bank was not due to the over leveraging you allude to in reality. The bank was given a clean bill of health by CBN Examiners just a few months before Sanusi came in and then ordered another set of examinations that had to be done 5 times to get the his desired result to achieve his objectives. Till today the Report of the Examination is yet to see the light of day, which is curious but not surprising given what Sanusi set about to achieve.

Is it not surprising that the MD/CEO appointed to manage Intercontinental Bank was Mahmoud Alabi, a known stooge of Saraki who immediately set about writing off N 8 billion out of over N 11 billion owed to Intercontinental Bank by Saraki and consequently returning back the collateral to Saraki? How do you explaining choosing to write off well collateralized loans in a bank you accuse of having systemic challenges?

And forget about your story of fending off Access Bank. Access Bank and its chief promoters (Aig and Wigwe) were indebted to Intercontinental Bank to the tune of over N 25 Billion and yet wanted to buy Intercontinental Bank for N 50 Billion? Was that not a joke? The money that Aig and Wigwe used to acquire Access Bank came from a N 16billion loan from the same Intercontinental Bank and they never paid back!

Na wa o! How come Erastus did not go to court? Why did the media "die" the true story ? This is one reason I diss the so-called Lagos media most of the time! They can spin any fact into fable! The same Sanusi that is playing victim today!!

When people call Yar A'dua saint, I just laugh.... It is just out of respect for the dead that some of us do not come hard on him,

He refused to renew Soludo's term even though Soludo was one if not the best CBN governor we ever hard.

He removed Ribadu as EFCC chairman because of Ibori, and he probably was part of the plan to take over these 5 banks that had no signs of being distressed.

Now we are beginning to see that perhaps the CBN governor in place is probably more important than the president in place.

I hear Tinubu is not very vindictive, otherwise, this would have been a great time to try to get him to open the case and get him to repay that loan with interest of up to 15% pa compounded since that time.

EFCC charged Saraki and Alabi to court on the matter but I cannot say precisely the situation of the case at present.
