If you are familiar with the workings of this machine you would know that it pours asphalt in layers. For those quoting me, this is obviously a road maintenance and not fresh construction. There is obviously an already existing drainage on this road. If you zoom the first image and look closely where the first motorcycle is parked you will see an existing drainage which is probably undergoing maintenance because some of the concrete slab cover have been removed.

I know that sense is far from ronu urchins but it is good that have already destroyed the aim of this thread

They have started creating fake accounts to complain on behalf of Abia ppl.

This people only cry about corruption when it doesn't favour them

Take a look at the picture once again as judge if that's should be qualified as a standard road.

Clearly they just put asphalt on the plain ground without any gutter or ground grading

This road is currently being rehabilitated by the federal government as s bypass to ikot ekpene road in umuahia, they are not even reconstructing it
The are just filling the pot holes and recoating the entire road with cotar
The contractors left the main road and this bypass for long since they last administration, until Dave umahi recently ordered them back to site

But they said it’s Julius Berger building all the roads, bridges, culverts and even drainages in Abia under Alex Otti. So, how come Berger is doing such a poor job?

Manage whatever they attempt to do. I have resigned myself to accept shoddy work than I see politicians not do anything. No shaking,if any politician build tent and call it 21st century School

You are not the sharpest tool in the shed. You have zero idea about road construction so your ignorance is understandable.

What those contractors are doing is pouring asphalt direct on subgrade. That rubbish would wash away in one or two year at most.

Also, there is no drainage; hence, the rate of detoriation will even be hastened.

I remember a politician in Oshodi, Lagos that did kind of low-quality work which lasted for 6 months but he re-tarred the road to become better
