Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie has declared that men who strikes women out of sheer provocation do not befit the title of a man.

God loves me too much to let that happen.again If your wife insults you or your mom it's because you as a Man has not drawn clearly defined and established boundaries.when there are boundaries everyone will behave and act accordingly and also know their limits as well as consequences for crossing them.a wise man doesn't need violence to run his home. He only needs God, wisdom and discretion.period.once you start hitting a woman she can never respect you again.if you like be the king of England,she will see you as a worthless man that is not worth listening to or being obeyed

brotha, pls focus on what i wrote...i dont care what a woman "says" but if that woman RAISES HER HAND TO HIT/ATTACK ME, then she will get the exact same treatment from me. i will never respect a woman who doesnt have respect for me.

the 1st thing a man should do if/when a woman hit/attack him, is to equally strike her back so she quickly learn that she should NEVER do that again. so many foolish men are dead because they didnt retaliate when some women hit/attack them (so the attack continued til she raised the bar and killed him)

noo that's not advisable.the fact that a lady raises her hand against you doesn't mean you should do the same because 2 wrongs doesn't make a right.the physical strength you have,she doesn't have.if for example she was the first aggressor and she was about slapping you first as a man you should either block her hand, dodge her hand or hold her hand not retaliate because if she slap you and you return the same energy, she fit collapse or drop dead because both of you don't have the same energy and they'll turn everything on top your head

...and i teach my kids the same thing. FIRST that you should NEVER use physical abuse, insult or degrade your partner just because you want to put your point across etc as you guys should be mature enough to either walk away OR calm down and communicate in an intelligent manner... and most importantly, SECOND if someone has no respect for your person, physically abuse you, then you should give them the exact same treatment that they gave you aka fight back (before leaving them) whether you are a boy or girl.
