They are following Paul footsteps, because at the time he was doing that, he was so sure of himself that he was doing the right thing, and being zealous for God and His people, because he was convinced the true christians were blaspheming their God and doing things worthy of death. Unknown to him he was walking in error and ignorance, however the result was the persecution and wrongful killing of many true christians, including Stephen, who was stoned to death under Paul's watch.

It took the intervention of Christ Himself for Paul, formerly known as Saul, to realize that he was walking in error and fighting againt God Himself even though it was done in ignorance.

The same thing is repeating itself all over again with the Paulians. They seem to have inherited Paul's former attitude towards true christians. They are calling them blasphemous, satanic agents, antichrist and muslims because they take priority in Christ teachings over those of Paul or anyone else. If they had the chance to, they could even pick up stones to stone them as those who stoned Stephen to death.

This most of them do due to ignorance despite being so sure of themselves.

I pray God has mercy on them so they get to realize this gross error as Paul did before it's too late. In Jesus name!

Christ's own words were written down decades after he said them and NOT by the original hearers. What conversation of 4O years ago do you remember word for word??

I agree with you regarding the bolded because Paul made it clear on certain occasion what he was saying was not from God, but from himself, but obviously the Paulians ironically don't believe that part of his writing or think he was lying, because they want to believe by all possible means that all he wrote was inspired of God.

And even when paul gave his personal opinion it is still by the Holy ghost. (1 Cor. 7:40).
Whenever Paul give his personal opinion it means the the Lord didn't directly address it but however Paul's opinion were inspired by the holy ghost.
