Nigerian Army troops say they have uncovered and neutralized a major firearms and drone manufacturing factory allegedly operated by the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

According to Army spokesman, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, the factory was located at Onicha Ulona in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

He said the troops faced stiff resistance upon raiding the facility but managed to overpower the armed fighters in a fierce firefight.

Nwachukwu said two of the fighters were neutralized, and a substantial cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.

”Items captured by the troops include, a wide range of IPOB/ESN firearms, ammunition, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and a drone manufacturing factory.

”Other items recovered are a variety of weapons, drones under construction, with prototypes, Improvised Explosive Device materials, a fully equipped workshop, and several power generating sets.

”Troops also apprehended four male and two female fighters during the operation,” he stated.

He assured members of the public of the troops’ unalloyed commitment to dismantling terrorists’ and insurgents’ networks.

”We urge the public to continue to support the Nigerian Army and other security agencies as they strive to restore peace and stability in the country,” he concluded.

But this kind of people are largely irrelevant. The key is to track and locate the financial sponsors, charge them with TREASON and have them hanged as a deterrent to others like them.

Otherwise, crime will never stop. The sponsors will remain safe and detached in their mansions while security forces continue to seize and parade weapons and expendable footsoldiers.

All efforts will remain futile until the sponsors are located and incapacitated.

Everything must be associated with ESN/IPOB to sell. What I'm seeing here are Dane guns used by hunters and local vigilantes. This is probably a local blacksmith that are producing Dane guns for hunters. The bandits that carry AK47s are untouchable. They should show us a video of the Drones and automatic riffles.

If you ask them now they will say that they are using the weapons and drones to fight fulani herdsmen and bandits in their bushes

If they can make drones, why not grab the drone maker and make him manufacture drones for Nigeria army?

I wonder if people haven't noticed a pattern here? IPOB has become the only group that the Nigerian Army will attack, overwhelm and recovered huge ammunition including bombs, without suffering a single casualty

Why do people think this is? It's simple, there was no attack, there was no IPOB, and its easy to take pictures of guns, make shift thatched houses, dish out a statement and watch Nigerians fool themself into thinking their Nigerian Army are fantastic
