Inaki Cana has been training Raya for PKs in last 2months. That went on silently sotey it was even hard to wonder if the guy was known for such expertise before pk started.

Truly this is a crew influence on this team.

This team is on the ascendancy but one thing I will always acknowledge these guys is their "efforts". No matter how, whether they win, lose or draw, they always always show effort and "care". You'll hardly see them being bullied or lacking desire. They always care and you can see it in their celebrations.

I am thankful we pushed it to PK because to your point, in such situations, you need your best kickers.

Also, our kickers showed immense mental strength and fortitude to put away their kicks despite playing all 120 minutes. They easily could have suffered heavy/ dead legs by the time PK arrived.

If Porto scored in the 2nd or extra time then we would have needed fresh legs to even give us a chance of extending to PK.

As we are now, we should be more realistic and lower expectations. We are like Lilliputians in the midst of Gullivers.

What's our own approach to frustrating any of the plans of the other 7 clubs we may face? That's why i pray MA learns from this Porto affair.

Yesterday roland17 was asking if we won’t concede I am sure even arteta won’t and can’t answer the question
Yesterday match was draining and exhausting at one point I just give up we should lose jare so that we can get over it

I disagree with you, inter sure have a better attacking threat than Porto. Just as jo.dera said, the Porto attck is good but inter will give more attacking threat than anything Porto can think of.

Personally, the win has overshadowed the immense work our backline did for 2hrs of football. This is the kind of nights that even if upfront play is abysmal, the defense holds firm. To reward such lockup, we need shore up that attack. We can't be handicapped cos Saka is ghosting or cos Trossard is lost in the setup.

Calhanoglu of Inter is a baller. They're using ATM for training. Off the ball press is heavier than Porto abeg. Weakness is that dimarco wing. Overlap. Plus ATM are wasteful. Thus game is open.
