Fasting has been an exercise I struggle with on my spiritual journey, and I'm being for real here.


I just want it to be something meaningful...something whose understanding and need I come into myself. Not just something *I HAVE* to do because I am a Christian and it's a required ritual, do you get me?

1. If they find a non-muslim who happens to be a foreigner let's say Lebanese or Indian eating in public during Ramadan, will they arrest him too or foreigners are covered by immunity?

2. Did the Quran say it is a must for a muslim to fast? Why should a muslim that refuse to fast be arrested?

According to the UAE’s penal code, the law pertaining to consuming food or drink during Ramadan, Article 313 says: “A person who eats or drinks in public during Ramadan, or encourages the act of consuming in public can face up to one month in prison or up to Dh2,000 fine.”

The school where I served u will see JSS 1ans 2 students who still have that childish traits in them going to snitch on their classmates who are Muslims but they saw breaking their fast when those ones strength no carry am again.

.....yes o. Jihad within oneself is great jihad as affirmed by Hadith; The “Greater Jihad” is the struggle against the lower self – the struggle to purify one’s heart, do good, avoid evil and make oneself a better person.

Isn't the struggle within oneself not part of the Greater Jihad just as the struggle to purify one's heart, and make oneself a better person, while the external Jihad using sword, pen, and/or tongue are the Lesser Jihad?
