There was a physical altercation during a meeting over properties involving the son and brother of the late comic actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu.

TopNaija understands that the veteran actor passed away a few weeks ago after a prolonged battle with illness.

During a recent meeting, there was an altercation between Mr. Ibu's brother and his eldest son, resulting in physical injuries including bruises and bleeding, as reported by content creator Tosin.

Tosin also provided visual evidence of Mr Ibu's son displaying numerous bruises on the back of his neck, his back, and his fingers. Despite the circulation of photos on the internet, there has been no official confirmation from any family members regarding the incident.

From these pictures of bruises I'm seeing here,

Are you telling me that it was Mr Ibu's brother that did those bruises,

Mr Ibu was in 60's, so I'm guessing that his brother is also advanced in age like him,

For a man that is probably advanced in age to even bruise a young guy like that at his age shows that Mr Ibu's brother is a very seasoned fighter grin grin,.... Money is a very powerful motivator.

Like a typical igbo man, no will.
Mtcheew.

Sure he even hide some documents from his wife.
Very anyhow people with low self esteem.

Go to workplaces and see how our men will initiate a fight they will never win in death.
Upon all the awareness, dem still no dey hear.

Your next of kin is your spouse according to the constitution and more especially if uou have kids below 18.
If kids are above 18 and you have a fallout with your spouse, it's then your children.
This is what the law maintains.

In this case between the wife's brother and the son would have been settled if he has a will.
Seems like the brother is fighting for the sister.

Gone are the days the kinsmen share property for the family when a man dies in igboland.
Court ti take over.
They go dey alright.

I knew of a man, before he died, he sold his house for 4 million naira, spent 3 million on himself for 3 years... And told his family to use 1 million for burial. It was after his death that everything was made know to the family by the lawyer.

The whole family were evacuated from the house 3 months after the death of Baba.

They relocated to a small house of 4 rooms and couldn't share that one. The matter go far guh

What the heck, an inlaw fighting a son. Is he also a beneficiary of his inlaws assets when his son is alive? The story doesn't add up

If a will can be contested in court why won't it be contested with fists?

I can confirm 100% that there's a will
