So we're either meeting Madrid or Man City if we scale through?

Abeg if we scale through make Madrid jeje beat Man city. I hate meeting English teams in European competition. embarassed

Exactly and that's my prayers too because I believe we can eliminate Bayern Munich this season and if we do,

Then our semis would be easier against Real Madrid than Man City though

Goodbye Bayern

I don’t get the fear some fans are having over this ‘Tuchel’ Bayern, cause Kane is their most deadly attacker and this is someone Saliba can handle even though I know he’s gonna score.

The main issue is if we scale Bayern, Madrid/city is there, and if we “Luckily” scale those one, then we’re having either psg or Barca for the final, the boys will get so exhausted and worn out if this happens

I see us scaling through over Bayen if we can take the advantage of NO BAYERN SUPPORTERS at the Emirates because of ban during the first leg

After all, we have met 14 times with ARSENAL winning 4 times, drawing 4 and losing 6 tim

Bayern Munich are beatable since they could lost at Lazio

I prefer playing city to madrid on two legs. If I would play Madrid, I prefer it to be the final when we can rugged things out within 90-120 mins.

U fit win Madrid 3-1 for home make dem beat u 6-2 for away. angry

Yeah I prefer arsenal against any other continental team in Europe. Once it's domestic teams in European competition I'm always afraid no matter how poor or hot they seem to be

That's the only reason that's even giving me hope— Tuchel Bayern. But then Bayern and is Bayern and they might just show up irrespective of their league's performance. I hope we don't allow nerve to unsettle us.

As for the finals, omorr, the main finals is the semifinal, if we can scale that one as you said, then we can ruffle the final(and those ones will be easier compared to Madrid/City on Paper at least). Moreover, I don't think the boys will be tired cos we'll have almost two weeks to prepare after the last league match (since we aren't in fa cup). Except for injuries that might affect us cos I don't see anything like exhaustion or "worn out" that will affect these guys oo. Especially when they know it's final cheesy

You make good point here but Arsenal just seem to find it difficult to play their domestic rivals in Europe ground. Always!!

Moreover, it'll just be too much cos it'll mean we'll play Man City 5 times this season (All important matches). Hmmmm.
The smash and grab wey we try do for 31st this month might probably come back to haunt us if we pair up with them in semi. Pep go over fire up him boys

I know this Madrid are mentality monsters but I'll take my chances against them (without them having a proper Striker) than against Pep over 2 legs.

Let's get over Bayern first before talking about our next fixture. It's always been one game at a time, the thoughts of the next game can come later. Bayern isn't as deadly as they used to be but Kane will still be Kane against arsenal that's for sure. At the moment the Arsenal team is more organized than Bayern Munich both in paper and in field, so I'm hoping for something positive on this one, we must try and win at home even if with 2 goals.

Bayern!!!

Very good set-up for us to play Bayern at this time.
The current arsenal team gives me confidence against Bayern

If we can do this at home then our chances of going through will be very high.

One thing for sure is that we need our core players fit

I don’t like this draw, I no go lie and I am unsure why many are already convinced we are better angry Do we have the quality to compete against Bayern? Yes, but Bayern in the Bundesliga is different from Bayern in the UCL.

Tuchel may be horrible in the league but man is a beast when it comes to UCL knockout. A lot of Bayern fans including those who want him out are worried he may walk his way to the UCL final and that would complicate his dismissal, especially if he wins it.

Amongst the top teams, they are the ones, along side Madrid I least wanted because of the quality of their team, experience and pedigree in the competition. I worry a lot about our inexperience at all levels.

We absolutely can’t lose the first leg or lose by a large margin because this Bayern side have tremendous quality especially in their transition play going forward. We just have to give ourselves a chance in both legs. This isn’t going to be a walk over but like I said earlier, we have the quality to give a chance.

I don't care if we play City 100 times this season; I believe we will slug it out with them over two legs. It's madrid that will always find a way to overrun any team over two legs.

Anyways, let's even face Bayern first to know our fate

Playing a familiar foe is better in a semi finals. When you leave the shores, there are factors other than the game itself that can affect the team.

We have to beat the best to be the best. There is no way around it in the champions league. One of the things I like about Klopp’s Liverpool is how they go into any tie with the mentality of winning. I believe we currently have that kind of mentality. In the past, we use to give up after a draw like this is made.

Winning Bayern’s challenge will mentally prepare the team against eventual winner between Man City and Real Madrid (who are past winners in last 5 years).

I kind of like the draw. If Arsenal eventually find itself in the final, no one would say it was an easy route because we had to test ourself against former champions of the competition consecutively. I just hope that our attack turns up (especially Odegaard, Saka, and Martinelli) and our defence does their job.

If we really want to prove our worth as a solid team in Europe, here is our chance to do so.

I am optimistic.

I swearrr, at least let the spine be available.
The back 4 (CBs), Rice and Odegaard then Saka. If these spine dey, the rest we can use squad depth to fill in. We need these guys to deh fit and I'll be very very confident

Lolz . There are so many strange people on this earth o; u won't know until u come across them.

Some people don't even play football because they love the sport ; they play because they know how to play it more than others . They don't attach emotions to playing it. It's not about passion for them, it's just something they know how to do and that's all.
My friend Jodera is the opposite. He talks a lot of football but when you ask him to play, he is uninterested. Joddy have never shared any experience of kicking a ball.

This is the best fixture we can get. Bayern is weak and old. They will not defend and that will be their undoing.

PSG has Mbappe, Barcelona is like Arsenal, Real Madrid has too much experience at this level, etc

One big advantage we have over them at Emirates is they won't be coming with fans
