The IDF reports that Palestinian gunmen fired at civilians waiting for aid at Kuwait Square in Gaza City last night, resulting in casualties. IDF troops did not fire during the incident. As per the IDF's investigation, a convoy of 31 trucks carrying food and humanitarian aid for civilians was en route to northern Gaza. An hour before reaching an IDF-established corridor, armed Palestinians shot at civilians waiting for the aid trucks, according to the probe. The IDF states that as the aid trucks entered the corridor, the gunmen continued shooting while some Gazans began looting the trucks. The IDF also observed civilians being run over by the trucks. Hamas health officials reported at least 21 deaths and over 150 injuries in the incident. After an intensive preliminary review, the IDF concluded that its forces did not fire at the aid convoy at Kuwait Square. The military's operational systems and troops on the ground did not engage in tank shelling, airstrikes, or gunfire toward the Gazan crowd during the aid convoy's presence. The IDF emphasizes that it is ongoing with the investigation into the incident.

The Lebanese Al-Akhbar daily newspaper: ISRAEL has informed Egyptian officials that it intends to enter Rafah and carry out "quality operations" and limited in number before the planned "major" entry, in order to free hostages. According to the report, Israel informed the Egyptians that as part of the operations there would be movement with heavy weapons in the border area with Egypt but not adjacent to the Philadelphia axis, it was also written that the Egyptians spoke with the Americans following the update and the Americans clarified that there is American approval for an Israeli plan to release abductees who are suspected to be among the civilian population in Rafah .

There's a less than a 1-1 ratio of a civilian in Gaza to a fighter, i.e. Hamas or other terror groups who have been killed. Granted, Hamas doesn't claim any deaths of their own and the US has officially adopted the casualty rates said by Hamas in which they inflate numbers and count everyone as a civilian. A 1-1 ratio is an amazing number in contrast to any war in which its usually a 3 or 4-4 ratio or higher especially considering that Hamas are terrorists and target Israelis among civilians and threaten civilians to remain and shield them. The low rate of civilian casualties in the Gaza war is thanks to the tremendous effort by Israel to avoid civilian deaths which in turn costs them their own casualties. |
