LP is barring Obidients from leadership positions of the party at the convention too. They are going to enact a rule saying one has to be with the party for atleast two years to be considered worthy enough for election to their leadership positions. cheesy

With this current crisis in LP, I suggest that Peter Obi floats his own party where all these stumbling blocks, dog fights and mud slinging can be curtailed

I understand that parties must undergo metamorphosis to achieve stability but this LP brouhaha is becoming one to many

Peter Obi doesn't have the capacity and experience to float a new Party.

As we speak today, it's only Tinubu that has floated a new Party AC, later ACN and nurtured it to win governorship election and later become a national Party. Not even Atiku. All he does is to jump from one party to another looking for tickets. That's why Tinubu is greater than Atiku or any other. I thought kwankwaso floated NNPP until when katakata burst.

Tinubu told that same Peter Obi representative in NLC to calm down and meet him in the 2027 pools. But then Peter Obi boys lambasted him. Now that Abure feels mature enough to overthrow Peter Obi's LP faction chairman and put himself there, the same Obi boys who lambasted Tinubu have turned around against him.

NLC is an organization of different lavour unions for the welfare of labourers in the country:
Labour Party is a political party of likeminds.
So how could the Labour union think of hijaking the apex leadership of a political party?

Lol. It was & still is, too glaring that the NLC under Comrade Joe Ajaero has become a political tool for Ajaero's ulterior motives.

When it was said that the Ajaero-led NLC had become "political", many supporters of the LP presidential candidate in the last general election dismissed it but the chicken has come home to roost finally; the Labour Party has exposed the NLC President as having political interests.

If the reports I have heard are true about the embattled chairman of LP abure trying to hurriedly arrange a secret national convention at umuahia abia state without informing the political wing of NLC or important stakeholders of the party,then NLC needs to intervene before the party loses the popularity that they managed to gathered in 2023!

The truth is that LP just like many mushroom parties aside APC and PDP before 2021 were avenues to siphon funds from their political opponents!
