Most seems to be in South West yoruba land. What i also noticed is that South West and Southern Nigeria in general has higher population by far then.

I think northern Nigeria population is inflated because the population decreases as one moves from Atlantic towards desert everywhere in the world

All Yoruba village slums are regarded as urban because of the congestion. Yoruba settlement patterns show signs of people living in fear of invasion

If as far back as 1963 Lagos was already larger than Ibadan then when exactly was Ibadan the largest city in Africa as often touted?

Lagos has more population than Ibadan but while Ibadan has more land mass than Lagos

In terms of population density Lagos is ahead of Ibadan

😁😁😁

You were shocked

It's must be very difficult to see that the table is dominated by the most sophisticated people in Africa since 1930

Call it slum or villages, Yorubas are always ahead of Igbos in all statistics measurements for development and advancement
First university, storey building, tared road, bridge, hospital, Bank, etc

There must be a reason why Azikwe was hell bent in overtaking SW from Awolowo and why Ojuikwu was heading to Lagos after quackered Biafra region 😁😁😁😁😁

Till today, millions of your people would prefer to die in our slum rather than going back to the megacity in Afghanistan 😁😁😜😜😄

Not surprised. Those Yoruba towns mentioned are still big and urban till now.

Ogbomoso is soo big..

Osun state dominated the list tho. The top 10 cities in d list are in osun state. The only thing is the cities are still d same since then. They need major facelift. Those rusty roofs in those towns must be replaced.

It was listed by population. Ibadan is bigger and more developed than every standalone city in Lagos
