Is it right after paying for prepaid meter, bedc staff will still send estimated billing

Your post makes it sound like you only PAID for a prepaid meter but have NOT received and fixed said meter at your residence.

If that's the case then YES, you'll still get a bill. Since you still use electricity while waiting for your meter to be delivered.

After all, you cannot use something you do NOT have.

But if you already have the meter fixed and using it, then you can tell them to shove the BILL!

When I paid for the ppm, bedc promised to install it a week after payment and now it's over a month and the power supply is so erratic that we barely have a few hours supply a week.

These criminals make MORE money with their ridiculous estimated billing. So they have ZERO incentive to deliver your prepaid meter.

It's on you to go to their office and display your special brand of Agberoism and Vawulence.

You need to follow up as OFTEN as possible. Disturb them as often as possible. Otherwise, they'll continue pussyfooting and slapping you with unjustifiable estimated bills.

Back to your original question, the answer is YES. They are within their rights to bill you for the electricity you used while waiting for your meter to be delivered.

You need to follow up quick and HARD.

I beg to differ, my neighbour paid for ppm and no estimated billing was sent to them until the meter was installed.

What I know is that by the Grace of God I'll go to bedc office tomorrow and give them hell until I see my ppm installed.
