26.6KM Amansea-Ufuma Road Commissioned For Public Use

The 26.4 kilometre Amansea-Ntokor-Ndiukwuenu-Awa-Ufuma road has been officially commissioned for public use.

The road which was commissioned in brief ceremonies was awarded and flagged-off for construction by Governor Chukwuma Soludo in September, 2022 and is very critical in the quest to make Anambra State prosperous.

Governor Soludo and entourage made stops at the various communities where the road crisscrossed and was received by a mammoth crowd who sang, danced, among other colourful displays to portray their joy.

According to Governor Soludo, it is project Anambra, irrespective of party affiliation or religious inclination, stressing that the priority of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA is to lift everyone out of poverty in line with the party's mantra of "be your brother's keeper".

While reminding the community members that the road was a major request they made during the gubernatorial campaign, Governor Soludo assured that his administration will continue to prioritize needs, with a view to delivering service to the people.

The Governor pointed out that a new city will emerge along the route, emphasizing that the design of the city is on course.

Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South, Sir Ogechukwu Ekwueme pledged that the area will keep supporting and praying for the Governor to succeed.

The Traditional Ruler of Awa, Igwe Israel Ezue, President General of Awa, Chief Raymond Ofor, e President General of Ufuma, Rtd Commodore Clement Ofor stated that they started to request for the road since 1978, applauding Governor Soludo for the breaking the age-long jinx.

Highpoint was cutting of tape by the various community members and residents of the area, assisted by the Governor.

26.4km Amansea-Ufuma rural road now with in few minutes you can drive from Ufuma to Awka, same thing Soludo did with Amansea Uwah-Ofemili road

Tiny, substandard and mediocre as usual. Soludo has spoilt anambra with tiny, substandard road in 2024.

Laying foundations for more waste of money. I remember old Kaduna central market one of the road was concrete not once have they ever had problems I don't know about now. Concrete laying is durable for our type of economy. 50per of M25 is Concrete laying in 2 years time they start complaining again.

This Soludo Prof must be fooling himself if he think that he can tickle Ndi-Anambra fancy by constructin tiny, substandard road.

Anambra is really urbanised to just build double way road without getting people and umunna dragging you to unending court case for encroachment and destruction of property.

Soludo is performing far better than Seyi makinde, Dapo abiodun and that mistake of a governor in Ekiti state

You can call other governors but definitely not seyi makinde...soludo has not even done half of what he did in Oyo state, roads with a standard interchange.

Soludo build roads with ochanja round about. Nah nah nah, makinde is better.

They are ignorant the roundabout isn't completed I was the one that covered the project on Sunday, it's ongoing projects

This is another ongoing roundabout in Onitsha

The are some parts of this road i saw that doesn't look good.. in some of the pics the shoulders of the road aren't covered with asphalt or concrete just sand..that is disaster waiting to happen...some also with an area I saw that looked like a former erosion site

Why not visit the road and take pictures of those areas or you think opposition parties don't ply the road or live in those communities? They would've been first to attack the governor

But he's dualizing more urban roads, where there's high vehicular movement and traffic.
I see roads like this as inner communal access roads
