You must be very young not to know that the same Adams was severely beaten and manhandled by the DSS during Obasanjo tenure for holding the country to ransom with strikes and not yielding to blackmail by the FG.

NLC is a major stakeholder in LP. Abure wanted a rancor free renewal of his chairmanship for another 4 yrs at the Convention and he doesn't want Ajaero NLC opposition.
