Elliotwaveforec: Agreed, developed countries also recognize that some incomes are un-taxable and are transparent with taxes and also regulate inflation and price control. What level of income is un-taxable in Nigeria? For the UK it’s 12,470£ and below. |

alphaNomega:Absolutely! So many ignorant Naigeerians has no idea that Tinubu's government is an extortion government, Tinubu has nothing to offer Naigeerians. Nearly 300 millions adult Naigeerian would generate so much money for Tinubu, it wouldn't matter how small his extortion seems, he would still make milions outta Naigeerians. Imagine even if it is 1000 naira, 2000, 3000 or 5000 "taxed" every adult Naigeerian monthly. Even 500 naira from each adult Naigeerian would still generate huge sum. |

Elliotwaveforec: Okay, and how does one recovering from an illness or schooling abroad, who’s currently not earning but has savings or pensions back home get a tax certificate? Also, are the taxes being charged on interest runs by banks considered state tax? |

247man: Thanks for the correction. Nigerians celebrates inhumane policies. Personally, no Nigerian earning below 1M NGN a year should be taxed |

FreeStuffsNG:All I was trying to let you know, which you have failed to accept is that, It had started before now and banks had been using it to scrutinize applicants since last year already as I also experienced this. It is not a thing to celebrate as you made it seem in your previous comment or post. Even with the TCC, you will still not get any fx due to the ridiculously long queue coupled with a fraction of the CBN's weekly fx allocations to commercial banks. You could wait for a whole year and you would still get nothing. I am not the type who would be doing copy and past but as you have refused to accept the truth, maybe you should read the below. They were 2023 news. Happy reading. https://www.arise.tv/nigerian-banks-demand-tax-clearance-certificate-on-fx-transactions/#google_vignette https://businesspost.ng/economy/banks-insist-no-tax-clearance-certificate-no-fx-allocation-for-bta-others/#google_vignette https://guardian.ng/business-services/form-a-applicants-to-submit-three-year-tax-clearance-certificates-effective-today/ |

I don't understand this things cbn is doing, if you're making it difficult for end users to access FX, they will run to black market n those ones will sell it high to them |

alphaNomega:Go to countries abroad and go do transactions without social security number and without paying tax, slowpoke. CBN is not even asking you to pay tax on fx, they only demand tax clearance for transparency and security purposes. |

lexy2014: You’re not qualified to be answering any question Mr. Man. Tinubu is working hard to make things right and help the country restore her lost name. He’s already winning and majority of Nigerians are in support of his drive and achievements except rodents and non foreigners like yourself. |
