2000 of that was lost to transmission deficits which is why we have the Siemens project to improve transmission.

And even then 7000 or 6100 is not enough, we need 33000 before we can talk of 24 hours light. The current phase of the Siemens project would enable the sector transmit up to 25000 mw

Tell me what your visionary leader has achieved in almost a year in office, he has done nothing but wrecked the economy, brought hardship. This is how you guys were dancing when he removed Subsidy and floated the Naira but it has turned to protest . We’re supposed to be discussing in hundreds or at least tens of megawatts by now. This country, our leaders never know where dey pain them.

Metres must be distributed free in the first instance while the cost would be recouped gradually over time with customers required to purchase a minimum of 5k per month.
