Nigerians contribute much relative to our population in the US. Nigerians in America are officially not up to a million but statistics suggest about 50 percent of our Population have college degrees making us one of the most educated ethnicity in America relative to our population. Surely, these college graduates are not gang banging or engaging in Yahoo Yahoo in their majority; they must be in professional employment contributing to the economy productively. These makes Nigerians significant contributors to the US relative to our population.
Trump's official reason for suspending Nigerians from migrating to the US was because of security risks or was it because our people are overstating their Visas. Am I talking about pre-industrial America? Which even then is not true. Slaves were in the South. They largely picked up cotton and did tobacco stuff. But that didn’t build America. For the record: There are MANY accomplished and successful black Americans. We are doctors. Ben Carson was a celebrated brain surgeon who successfully performed the first surgery to separate twins joined at the head. We are astronauts. Look up Dr. Mar Jemison, a medical doctor who led a hospital in Africa before going into space. We are inventors. And we’ve been all of those things for HUNDREDS of years. We were in Ivy League schools as early as the 1800’s.

If you were so much better than us, why haven’t you built up your country? 2020 and you’re still struggling with 24-hour electricity? The majority are illiterate and unable to attend school because of school fees? The majority live off of less than $1 USD per week?
