Children below 14 will not be able to post pictures or say anything that implies that there are that age, social networks will set up "autobots" to detect contents that resemble that created by children. It's very easy to implement.

Sure they can still view social media but they won't be able to participate in it.

Exactly! Government should have limited role in the moral life of our children and families in general. That role is best reserved for families and religious organisations which the families adhere to technology. Internet and social media in specific is a double edge sword, just like any other technology, it could be employed for both good and bad.

Restricting children from accessing it could put them at disadvantage with children from other parts of the world, ie China, Japan and Europe. US children learning to navigate the Internet at 15 would put then at a great disadvantage when children of same age in Japan from Haa been using it for educational purposes since the age of 10. Some 15 year old are already coding and building apps.
