That Assumpta roundabout is where Onitsha road ends. It does not require any flyover there.

There were illegal structures built by lawless developers in front of the market, very close to the highway; those illegal structures were buldozed.
Meanwhile, demolishing and removal of debris, and rebuilding and demolishing and removal of debris, and rebuilding or relocating Ekeonunwa market of Owerri, has cost Imo state a fortune.
Perhaps, after Uzodinma, Owerri people shall ask for the newly built Ekeonunwa market be demolished, to rebuild their market as it was before APC government emerged in Imo state. Who knows? Imo state has been supplanted by Owerri.
