There is a biblical verse that says a useless man leaves no inheritance for his children. And in that biblical statement you can see that God is trying to tell you that if you are poor you should not be having children. Having children when you are poor is a curse and you have no inheritance for them so according to the Bible you are a useless man. Multiple children is meant for men like Dangote and otedola who have so much money that they need multiple children to inherit them all. If you don’t have Dangote type money it’s a curse for you to have multiple children and you are considered useless by the Lord cuz you will have no inheritance for them all

Most children of poor parents would end up slaving to build more wealth for the children of the rich. That's why people like Elon Musk would keep complaining about declining birth rate and encouraging people to give birth.

Poor people should NOT give birth. Even though sex is the only pleasure they can afford. They should use birth controls.

Plus, it's more difficult to escape poverty when children are involved. Because children are crazy expensive.

You are echoing the mentality of our northern governors who breed like rabbits and encourage ever tone else to do the same

I asked a classmate who was celebrating the virtues of polygamy and large numbers of children - so how do you raise these kids? His answer that's the woman's job. So in a polygamous family with all the battles for ascendancy among the wives, you think any of them will expose or act on the misbehaviour of their children and lower their standing in the hierarchy? Or will they hide and conceal misbehavior and all pretend their children are perfect?

This assumes they bother raising them at all beyond perfunctory Islamic training

Having as much kids as you want is not a problem but do you as a parent have what it takes to take proper care of those kids?
Taking care of your kids is not only about financial buoyancy. It is also about giving them morals and cultural values as well. So yes if you are not financially capable of taking care of a child,in fact it is a sin to give birth only to put that child in the poverty way.
If you have money as well,moral taughts and responsibility knowledge should be given to the kids too

Sukkot got married in a private marrige ceremony at Ikoyi registry. He is on his honeymoon and keeping things on a down low for now.

My jaw literally dropped to the floor when I received the wedding invitation in my inbox, I didn't figure him for the marrying type but I guess deep down everyone wants a companion to do this life with.

He also likes the idea of a gum body marriage, it will be fascinating to see how this marriage plays out.

Don't have children if you don't have a good job. Just take care of yourself.
It is one of the reasons Nigerians are going through hardship.
What I don't understand is how a low job or hungry person can be in the mood for s ex.

The problem isn't about them being poor. It's about lacking basic knowledge about family planning.

Most poor uneducated people have zero knowledge about what family planning entails. Most would tell you that they can't use condoms on their wife thus exposing their Ignorance by thinking that condoms are the only family planning method.

The solution to this problem is to enlighten people in rural communities. NGOs or even the government should set up subsidized health care centers in these rural communities where experienced health personnel would lecture them on the disadvantages of having children they can't cater for and the need to start family planning.

If you don't educate and enlighten them, they won't know. They'll keep on putting babies in their wife's womb.
