France is a beast. When we talk of poverty in Africa, it's mostly in those French-speaking countries. Things are so bad there that their people come down here to Nigeria to work as bike riders, househelps, and mama put restaurant cooks --- these are jobs even Nigerians won't do.

French-speaking countries in West and Central Africa are in a horrible state because most refused to fight for their independence because they didn't want war, unlike countries like Vietnam and Algeria that fought brutal wars to kick the French out.

Even Haiti that initially fought off the French to gain independence later had to pay large amounts of money to France when France returned with warships and soldiers to retake the island nation. France collected so much money that the country was wrecked. And when Haiti tried collecting reparations in 2002, France and the US launched a coup and overthrew their president.

And this is just one of the many nonsense France has done. Most people don't know that the Vietnam war was initially fought against France. When France was kicked out, the US entered, and it too was kicked out.

Algeria's national anthem was even a revolutionary song written against France. Just check out the opening lyrics:
