Why Is There No Oro Festival This Year? by Penguin2(op): 1:46pm On Mar 30, 2024
If you recall, during the general elections last year, residents of Lagos were subjected to several discomforts including restriction of movement sometimes due to Oro Traditional celebrations. It was even worse during the elections of February and March.

But interestingly, it’s that time of the year again but we have not heard of road closures or restriction of movements because of Oro.

Which is why I’m asking the question, why is there no Oro Traditional celebration this year?

Or does the Oro follow INEC timetable?
