Probably because of his status, well they should investigate and find it someone is culpable in this matter

How can a DCP of Police be unmarried? Is it that he was married before but now separated and / or divorced? How come he discharged all his aides ? Who was then left to protect him? Is it possible for such a very senior police officer to discharge all his security aides just like that? What if they leave and he is targeted by armed bandits / criminals who may have an axe to grind being that he has been a career crime buster? Was there nobody else in the house? They will do this one. The man is not just an ordinary police man. He is a reputable one. Moreso, any crime against police officers,the NPF can go at any length to investigate it. That there is a replacement doesn't impede the investigation. In fact, it will hasten it.

This is most liikely to be one of the cases of undiagnosed mental illness ravaging people and later leads to suicide.
