cococandy: You should understand what you're talking about. I agree we can say Israel has probably breached international law. But calling it GENOCIDE isn't true. If so, Israel is so poor at committing genocide. 32,000 (according to HAMAS) Palestinians including thousands of terrorists in 6 months. Hamas, which according to some people are freedom fighters, killed over 1,200 Israelis in one day. How many would it have killed in six months? Israel has dropped the equivalent of over 4 atomic bombs in gaza. If the bombs were for genocidal purposes, the deaths would be near a million. I'm not saying 32,000 isn't much, or even saying Israel is moral. I'm saying it is obviously not a genocide. Israel has total air dominance on Gaza, and has mobilized hundreds of thousands of soldiers. If the aim is to simply kill all of the Palestinians (Genocide), this war would have been over long ago. War is terrible. And I blame this war on HAMAS. No matter what Israel did, NOTHING justifies Oct 7. |

Righteousness2: The Israelis you so much worship are not even Christians! They don't even believe that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. Starting in 70 C.E, following the conquest of Jerusalem by the Roman's, the expulsion of the Jews from Israel had began and it was concluded in the second century C.E. For about 1,800yrs, the Jews were migratory settlers all over the world. This fulfilled the curse that would befall them if they ever abandoned true worship and no better way was that shown by murdering the Christ, the "vineyards owners son." God said he would abandon them because òf this and he did.(Matthew 23:33-43) Jesus wailed over Jerusalem "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her. How I wanted to gather your children together under my wings the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings but you people did not want it. Look, your house is abandoned to you." (Matthew 23:37-38) (Luke 21:20-24) Were they not the ones that screamed "May his blood be upon us and our children."? When some Jewish Christians felt that they were better than the Gentile Christians as it was Israel that the true God first chose through Abraham, Paul was forced to clarify matters that the promised seed wasn't the nation of Israel but rather the Christ. It was through the Christ all nations would be blessed (Galatians 3:16) The seemingly present invincibility of Israel is irrelevant. It is what the Bible says that counts. The Devil keeps appearing as an angel of light. Without America's military and economic support, it would wobble. America has gifted them close to $20bn worth of weapons since the start of the war. Had it not done so, it would have eaten a big hole in its budget. Wars are horrendously expensive. They depend on modern day horses, chariots and the Egypt of our day, America to remain powerful and not on God. For centuries, Christians saw the Jews as a cursed people for killing the Christ and were persecuted viciously in most Christian lands they sought shelter in. They suffered from repeated pogroms in Europe. A pogrom is when a majority ethnic group slaughters another like what was common in the North against Igbos. The worst was during the World War 2 when Hitler gassed 6m of them. In Poland, 3m were killed. Only 100,000 Jews were in Poland left when the war ended in 1945. That was why they were desperate to claim Israel that if they had their own land, such evil would never beset them again. The Jews no longer have any special relationship with God. If they want to be accepted, they should accept Christ ransom sacrifice and be saved. (John 3:16,18) Many of the parts referring to Israel in the Bible isn't a natural Israel but a spiritual one. 3 Likes |

Righteousness2: Mr, I think you should just continue in your messages of salvation through Jesus which I have come to respect you for. Because as far as this Israel/Palestine war is concerned, there are a lot of things you have said that will make some people reject Jesus. Because these Israel people you defend so much don't even believe in Jesus. 97% of them ain't even Christians. 73.6% practice Judaism, 18.1% muslims while Christians in Israel are just 1.9%. .Does it mean they will still all go to heaven by your recent comments? Because at times when I read some of your comments about this issue, you sound like Jesus is only for them regardless of their unbelief in Him. It makes me feel like ' okay then, I should just go worship the gods in our land then if Jesus is only for the Jewish people that don't believe in him. Thank God I know better because the Bible instructed us to go into the world and preach the Gospel. Jesus said.. I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the father except through me.' These set of people hated Jesus for things like this and they recommend he be killed like a criminal. In fact, they still believe their own Messiah hasn't even come at all. They rejected and still reject Jesus just as they rejected God so many times in the old testament. Mind you, does it mean Jesus now supports the war on Palestinians by the Israeli people? Would Jesus have killed 100,000s for 2000? ' The old testament is more of the history of these people while the whole Bible's central message is love and salvation through Jesus. It will be just fine to focus on it. Even God referred to these people as stiff-necked people. Their issues therefore can only be determined by God. Don't let their issues(world politics) derail what you have been known for: the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Shalom! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Empiree: Your kind and loving Hamas were making demands that were unacceptable. For example, it demanded a complete withdrawal of the IDF as a pre-condition to any deal. This is even ignoring the fact that there is no moral equivalence between the hostages brutally kidnapped by your kind and loving Hamas and the Palestinians arrested by Israel. Hamas started this war, Israel is responding to it. Hamas should unconditionally release the hostages if it wants peace. |

Fayos1: Let's ask the murderous Israel to release thousands of Palestinians in theirs prisons years before Oct 7 and after Oct 7. Let's also ask Israel to dismantle the apartheid and land grabbing regime they put up for years now. Let's also ask Israel to compensate all the Palestinians they have killed, imprisoned and banished from their lands since 70 years ago. cococandy: There is absolutely no difference between war and Ethnic cleansing, just a mere word play. When Hamas attacked, were they not trying cleanse the infidels? Fulani attacked Benue, Ife clashed with Modakeke...is it not ethnic cleansing? If you become a President someday, and people walked in to kill over a thousand of your citizens, you can go to the media like your rulers, express your SHOCK n call it a day. Israel has chosen a different route. I have no dog in the fight, but Palestine must understand who is the boss no have to release those in their custody, only then would every other person ask Israel to back off. |

Procashtips: I thought you want an end to this war. Hamas started this current war, and obviously, Israel is more than a match for it. You cannot expect Israel to stop with its hostages in Hamas possession. If the aim of Hamas is to destroy Israel or take back all the land they've lost, then it should keep fighting the war it started, and you shouldn't be here screaming for a ceasefire. But if there is to be a ceasefire, you should call for the immediate and unconditional release of the hostages. NOTHING justifies Oct 7th. You cannot absolve Hamas of what it did, then condemn Israel for its reaction to it. |
