Aside Elumelu that's a millionaire in dollars, the others are millionaires and billionaires in Naira at best.

I am suprised you forgot to add your Emoney and the other one that runs a club.

If they are listed on London stock market and they worth $billion, then Forbes would have listed him if his net worth is that much.

That should tell you he is an ordinary millionaire in $$.

Wait till like 2050, maybe by then an Ibo man will be on the list.

Until then, you can only cry while seeing Yoruba and Hausa/Fulanis dominate the list. I’m sorry, but it’s a hard pill to swallow.

Bro engage me like someone educated abeg.

Being listed on a London stock exchange does not indicate your business is worth $1billion.

$38million is the minimum market cap to enter London SE. So out of that $38milliom, you now need to drill it down to the networth of the owner himself which might even be just 50% or less of the company worth itself.

No Igbo man dead or alive is worth $1billion except if it is from illegitimate sources like politicians and etc. for those, you won’t be able to value them because their source cannot be determined.

That’s why you don’t see Mexico drug dealers on the list. It’s the same reason why they won’t put OBJ or Babangida on the list even if they’ve stolen $1billion.

Google owner is the number 5 on the list of the richest men in the world. It’s just internet.

Boy understand how money work. Adenuga money is tied to software and you can’t compare it to a Shinedu installing tank somewhere.

Not until you dig the ground and sweat before you get profit. Think like an educated person.

African Billionaires.

Compare how many people work for Microsoft and How much is paid in salaries to these people.
Compare how many people work for Dangote Cement and how much is Paid in salaries to these people.

Africa creates billionaires by amassing wealth that was suppose to be for a lot of people in their communities.
In developed countries, Billionaires are created while making a lot of other people wealthy.

Stop glorifying these guys, they are making their billions of our backs. Our resources, our tax waivers, our import waivers, and monopoly licenses.
There are Millions of people in Nigeria, that would be richer than Dangote if given half his opportunities of MONOPOLY.

Dangote shared rice this ramadan though.
I wonder if Bill Gates his friend shared rice too.
