Peter Obi himself didn't claim he didn't borrow; what he is against is borrowing to fund recurrent expenditures. Peter Obi, as always, advocated borrowing to fund critical infrastructure.

Why do you think the timeline started the year Obi became Governor? Probably because if they had showed the previous year, everyone would have known its a carry-over loan. When the likes of his excellency Tinubu was campaigning for the return of democracy back to Nigeria under Abacha, this same Agulu Peter Obi was busy getting appointment from Abacha as one of the board members in Lagos port, he never believed in democracy hence not joining the campaign.

This same fake messiah of democracy, Peter Obi, in all of his 8 years as Anambra state governor, he only conducted Local government election in his last year out of office which it was even by court order.
