I stay in Aba and my feeder is probably the worst. Anyone that stays in Aba and has knowledge about the feeders should know that 33 Ukwa feeder has always been in bad shape. I can go 4-5 days with blackout and the rest 2 days can't even boast of total 8 hours of electricity.

When NERC announced that they have increased the tariff of band A from 66 naira to 225 naira, I found the announcement ridiculous. I get around 8 hours of power supply a week and my last payment around December last year was 82 naira per kwh.

This morning, I decided to check the current tariff on my meter and I saw 95.7 naira per kwh.

From my observation, the band rating is a scam. Many customers are wrongly classified. Many are even paying higher than the Band A.

But some Igbo Guys on Nairaland said, Aba gets 24 hours power supply.

I bought 20k and I was given 82.7kw at rate of 241 per KW. I went to customer care to complain....they said vat. Omo Lagos I go soon leave you.

I charged N20k yesterday and got over 300 units, and we get power for about 12hrs each day.

Some of the units people are posting is shockingly expensive.

I would not be surprised if, over the coming months, the discos started putting more and more people under the now dreaded Band A without their knowledge.

Never done bypass before but i think i will do bypass now cos this is rubbish

How can one calculate how much one use per kilowatt cos my meter does not show the cost on dashboard
